Heck no. Limbaugh is a hot headed blowhard who never gets his facts right. Considering that he also accused Pope Francis of “preaching Marxist ideology”, I definitely choose to stay away from him.

NEVER gets his facts right? That is quite a claim to make. I have been listening to Rush for 24 years or more. How could he have such a long career and NEVER get his facts right.
Me thinks you just don’t like the facts.

Why read something that is written to smear another conservative? Are they running out of material on Trump?
I have never even heard of the source.

Actually, come to think of it 35 is really not that bad. I said I had been listening at least 42 years. I am not sure how long Rush has been on the air, but that works out to less than 2 quotes a year and over a 42+ career, that is not that bad.
I haven’t read the 35 quotes and some probably don’t really merit complaining about.
I guess it is up to each listener as to what angers them. It is not up to the democrats to tell us what should or should not anger us!

Yeah, I haven’t really done podcasts. Can you recommend a conservative political podcast that has commentary on daily news? I would take any recommendations.

After googling AddictingInfo, it looks like they don’t like facts too much either

Pretty sure CNN and Foxnews are as well. I am not sure there is an outlet that aren’t part of that world any more. PBS stations and NPR used to be okay, but that was 30 years ago.

Local news stations seems to have the least political agenda to push, but vary in quality of news.

I can’t handle listening to political talk radio for more than a few minutes at a time but my husband is a fan. Most people I know who listen to Rush regularly over time say he actually makes sense.

What I have heard is that he won’t do interviews and debates unless “the other side” agrees not to replay sound bites of the interview without his approval. He doesn’t want his words to be presented/edited in a way that misrepresents his views. I guess not too many media outlets are willing to meet his terms.

I take personal pride in the fact that I get my news from a wide variety of sources. I’m unaffiliated. I sometime hold conservative positions, sometime liberal positions, and often independent positions.

I listen to Rush on occasion. I watch Fox News and MSNBC occasionally. I used to watch CNN a lot before they became Trump obsessed. I listen to lots of NPR, BBC, and PBS. Every morning I read the news from lots of places. WSJ and USA Today are favorites. I also perouse Red State, New Republic, Crux, The Economist, NYT and WaPo.

I think it is important to consume a wide variety of news and come to my own conclusions.

Afraid I cannot answer the question from the two sources recommended as answers. But I can say the best kinda talk radio have been Drew Mariani and Patrick Madrid on Relevant Radio.

A truly Catholic wholesome view full of charity and truth. It’s fulfilling.

He is smart. He understands how the liberal media would spin his words or twist them or edit them.
If I hadn’t realized he was making sense I would have stopped listening long ago.
He does make sense!

Not spelled LaVin.

Levin.

Mark Levin.

Writes books about the Constitution and about the Supreme Court.

Levin authored the 2005 book Men In Black: How The Supreme Court Is Destroying America, in which he advanced his thesis that activist judges on the Supreme Court (from all parts of the political spectrum) have “legislated from the bench”.

Rescuing Sprite: A Dog Lover’s Story of Joy and Anguish is a non-fiction work written by Levin in 2007 about his experience of rescuing a dog named Sprite from a local animal shelter.[35]

Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto was released in 2009, and became a #1 New York Times best seller for eleven of twelve weeks,[36] as well as No. 1 on Nielsen’s BookScan[37] and No. 2 on Amazon.com’s list of bestselling books of 2009.[38]

In Liberty and Tyranny Levin repudiates the use of the term “progressive” to describe “modern Liberals” and instead argues a proper term should be “Statist”.

Liberty and Tyranny has sold over one million copies according to Threshold Editions, the book’s publisher.[39] The National Review’s Andrew C. McCarthy wrote, “Levin offers not so much a defense as a plan of attack” against “America’s Leftist ascendancy”.[40]

Ameritopia: The Unmaking of America was released in 2012. In Ameritopia, Levin discusses the origins and development of both the modern day conservative and liberal political philosophies, the latter of which he refers to as “statist”, through the works of some of the leading figures in American history.[43][44] Included are commentaries on works by Plato, Sir Thomas More, Thomas Hobbes, Karl Marx, John Locke, Charles de Montesquieu and Alexis de Tocqueville.[45] Jeffrey Lord called it “historical X-ray vision in book form”.[46] PJ Media praised the book, “That Levin wrote this book now demonstrates not only his passion for the United States, but his awareness that he is a statesman defending natural law at a pivotal moment in human history.”[47]

The 2013 book The Liberty Amendments: Restoring the American Republic suggests eleven new Constitutional amendments. The book debuted at #1 on The New York Times Best Seller list.[50]

Levin authored Plunder and Deceit: Big Government’s Exploitation of Young People and the Future in 2015,[57] and …

Rediscovering Americanism and the Tyranny of Progressivism in 2017.

He also joined with his Dad on several books, such as:
