Do you make your bed every day?

I make mine every morning. Doesn’t take much, just pull the cover up and straighten it. By the end of the week, though, stuff is starting to pull off of the bed so it gets trickier, before I finally wash everything.

The trick is to not use a scratchy blanket, but rather, a nice, soft, cottony quilt (thin lightweight one for the summer). Because you’ll need to wash it as often as you wash your sheets, it needs to be sturdy enough to survive the washer and dryer. That’s why I like printed quilts!

I personally don’t make my bed, ever.

It seems so pointless, make it every morning just so you can mess it up that night. No body sees my bedroom except my wife and I, it is not like we are offending anyone with our messy habits, lol, we just keep the door shut anyway.
 
I need to change my vote (from “no” to “yes”). Since I first saw and answered this survey, I’ve made my bed everyday…furthermore, I’ve made my daughter’s (I used to make her do it, but sometimes she didn’t get it done until an hour before bedtime…figured she’s a little kid and I’ll help her out–she can do it on weekends).

Hmmm, sometimes the stupidest little thing helps us grow…thanks for the push.

Sometimes I get lazy and just leave my bed a mess, but making my bed, or at least smoothing out the covers, really does help. It’s much nicer to go to sleep in a neatly made nest.

…of course this doesn’t mean I can’t use my bed during the day as a couch or as a place to store stuff 😛
 
The only time I make my bed is before company comes and before we go on vacation. (I don’t want the pet sitter to see my unmade bed) It’s about the only times I really clean my house too. 😃
 
I make my bed every morning. It’s part of my everyday routine. I like to have my bed made, it just looks neater. This could be another poll but I don’t leave dirty dishes in the sink before I go to bed (no, I don’t have a dish washer!). I don’t iron socks or pillowcases, either!🙂
 
My wife and I follow the last out rule. The last one out of the bed in the morning makes the bed.
