What about cattle ranchers and others for infusing chemicals in food, water, soil, and air… like the many instances where government has looked the other way as greedy capitalist have serve death on their platforms (STT–which was brought back to the US in the goods bought from contaminated farms outside the US; the cattle industry practices, the poultry industry; the steroids and hormonal and gene manipulation in the farming industry; the tobacco poisons; and the pharmaceutical industry god-playing…)

Yeah, keep playing the 🙈🙉🙊

Hi, Petra!

Yeah, the government made sure that they had Uzis under each pillow!

Hi!

So you’re saying that unless peoples’ feet and hands are cutoff the distribution of guns should suffer not accountability?

Maran atha!

Angel

So you go to those other states and bring them to California or speak to one of those reputable dealers that facilitate guns with a wink and a nod!

This is very nice for those areas… so was the LV hotel a self-promotion for gun totters to seek as a place to release their angst?

Again, nice band aid.

It’s like that pretense about the mentally ill–how many of them have accumulated a hefty arsenal of guns, machineguns, and rifles?

It’s the ghost-whisperer effect: ‘the officers get a feeling about, that guy… wait, no, that guy… wait, wait, that guy!’

Hi, Clarles!

How confident are you about the training these security people have and how good are they with guns to hit a target more than 10 feet away shooting from a hotel window–remember, 32nd floor?

Sir I am confused by your question. If you are wondering why I believe it would be a hard shot then my answer is simple:physics. It is much harder to fire a weapon upwards because of the increase of the pull of gravity on it. It pretty much takes all other accuracy training and throws it out the window. I’m not saying the guards are bad marksman but with the weapons they most likely had(probably handguns) making the shot would be extremely difficult even for a soldier.

Charles, I may have misunderstood your argument.

I thought that you were proposing that had the guards been armed they would have been able to derail the assault by taking out the perpetrator.

No, the point is valid. Under what conditions is a manufacturer responsible for when their product is misused?

I am sure that 100% of the cars used in drunk driving are traced back to legitimate dealers. Does the fact that the drunk purchased his\her car from a legal dealer make GM or Ford responsible for any deaths?

Brendan, can you not distinguish the difference between “ride” and “kill” instruments?

False equivalency in that a car is not built to kill people, but automatic weapons are.

No, semi-automatic rifles are primarily built for hunting and\or target shooting. A simple investigation on the number of times they are used for those purposes vs any other purpose would confirm that. In much the same way that a simple investigation on how often cars are used to transport vs how often they are used to kill would indicate their designed use.

And would not the builder be the authority on what the purpose of their device is? After all, they are the ones who are building it. How would you prove otherwise?

Put it this way: Guns are used to kill, be it animals or humans. Killing is their job.

Can’t remember where I heard this line but I love it: ‘Planned Parenthood is the NRA of the left.’ (and vice versa I guess)

So, cars are meant to be gassed up, aimed and petal to the metal–is that not that sci fi trash?
