The New York Times said that he left his “wife”. But I believe that the two of them are back together.Looks like Archbishop Milingo is thumbing his nose at Rome.
Typical New York times fashion.

I’m not surprised at his statements. He demonstrates perfectly well what St. Augustine says, “Sin blinds the conscience.”
This is true. All schism is by it’s nature sinful.I’m sorry, there is no such thing as a minor schism.
Schism is schism…you can’t treat them differently.
I agree. Every large religious, scholastic, governmental or professional group has eccentrics who flaunt rules and make a few waves. Abp. Milingo’s actions were enough to make a juicy little tidbit for a slow news day. If he were in some other profession he would be written off as a garden variety nut.I don’t think so. This guy has chosen to become irrelevant and, at best, a footnote in a history text. What a tragic, pathetic end for a priest of Jesus Christ.
