The question is not should God outlaw it, it is should man outlaw it.
Man imposing his will upon another, based upon what he believes to be a morally superior position…is not right. People were given free will for a reason. You can turn away from God, or turn towards him.
The State has no business approving or rejecting which religion it deems moral, so long as its practice does not contravene the current legal system.
I challenge you to answer these three simple questions:
- What punishment / rehabilitation do you propose for those found guilty of practicing witchcraft.
- What does the State do with a person who refuses to renounce their Faith in witchcraft and continues to practice it?
- Would one be guilty of an offense if they were found to have practiced witchcraft alone in their home?
