Already explained this, my circular friend.
NOT.Right above, they were talking about couples that God has made one flesh.![]()
No.It’s the exception to the marriage they were just speaking about, friend. He was speaking about a marriage joined in the eyes of God and then gave the exception for when it can be broken.
As much as I like you I feel it is time to point out that you do talk in circles and you do twist things a bit, just like the quote I asked you to consider.I am Catholic, and therefore I have the great privilege of defending the Catholic faith. But this privilege comes with a hardship. I don’t always accept this hardship, and therefore shrink away from the author of faith!
I don’t claim to be any better than yourself. I am a weak man who struggles to uphold the faith in all things.
I am not criticizing you so much as the Quaker religion. I do not know you, so I have no right to judge you. And I have my own sins to reconcile with Jesus!
But some statements which you make, and your religion are at great odds with the Catholic faith. It is natural for me to doubt your personal revelations are from God!
Not exactly! I said if a person enters into marriage while believing it is ok to commit violence to their spouse, there is a good chance that person is rejecting God’s involvement in the bond.Maybe you should chat with @rcwitness instead of me; he said marriage with abuse is valid in the eyes of God.
Well, you keep asking me why I think a thing; so if you don’t want the same answer don’t ask the same question. I already had a long, circular talk on this. If you’re actually interested just read up on the thread.Circular?
But that’s all you’ve offer.
You have special revelation that all paths lead to God so you are pleased that others do not find your way but your way is God’s inspired and la la la…
Regardless of the intent to demonstrate Jesus’ Teachings you simple go back to ‘many paths; I have special revelation; all are right by God; just choose your poison.’
So yeah, call me circular as you engage the world from your merry-go-wrong.
Maran atha!
