Does God love kids conceived by In-Vitro fertilization?

Yes, that is a good thing to believe, but it’s not what Scripture tells us.

‘The LORD is slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness, forgiving iniquity and transgression; but He will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generations.’ Numbers 14:18

Given that at least one parry presumably has a problem in that , it would be statistically surprising if there were not a higher rate than the general population.

Apparently there is some genetic component for older moms. Women who conceive naturally older tend to pass that ability on to their daughters.

My great grandmother had her last child at 45. Her daughter was about 42 when she had her last.

I was 40. I needed to avoid at that point, nine years later I think I probably would have been able to conceive at around 43 if other factors were ok.
 
Personally I do not see the issue of having too many fetuses, there is absolutely no argument for them feeling pain and I’m not sure keeping them frozen will help their mortality rate. I can see the Catholic church argument about every fetus being implanted, but honestly the shick about them being conceived via normal sex is silly theology. Couples that do this have no other option. No one spends $10s of thousand or even $100k to have a baby they don’t want. Love is being created where none would have happened.
 
I can respect that you have a different viewpoint than the Church on this issue, but would you mind refraining from characterizing a deep and, for many of us, very beautiful teaching of the Church as a “schtick”? I’d really appreciate it, thanks
 
I was a buddhist and now I intend to convert to Catholicism, but that question is always on my mind and I really want to answer it. I hope God helps me.
 
Maybe they aren’t meant to have a child of their own genes? Maybe they’re meant to adopt a needy child
 
I guess I really don’t understand WHY anyone would think God doesn’t love kids conceived by in vitro ? I mean, is someone teaching you that? And, if they are, may I respectfully suggest that you find a different program or person to mentor you into the Church? We are at God’s side throughout our lives. WE are the ones who choose to step away from HIM when we sin, not Him who chooses to step away from us, so really the whole issue of how God feels about the children of parents who, possibly, have sinned via in-vitro is confusing to me…
