It comes down to which religion to believe in. There is your problem right there. One is only dependent upon a belief if one is at a distance from the truth, and thus one is located within a zone of less than truth.
And so if you have many people defending their specific religions, then they are each defending a specific less than truth. This will therefore lead to a continuation the presence of there being multiple religions, since neither has chosen to venture toward the truth.
The problem at hand, is the mental action known as belief.
There are two kinds of people, and they can differ so much that in some cases they are like comparing black to white, forward to reverse, up to down, etc. One type can hear and see the truth. The other is always at a distance from the truth, and therefore must practice beliefs and disbeliefs instead.
Unfortunately, if one is at a distance from the truth, it can lead to huge errors. In fact it can lead to an error that is so huge that its scale can never be surpassed. Fortunately a particular fellow made a powerful example of this such that people would catch on and thus not make this mistake.
He presented a huge truth to numerous people. Those who could hear and see the truth had no problem seeing it for what it was. The others, who chose to be believers, ( Religious believers.), saw it as being the exact opposite of what it truly was. How can this be, you may ask !
A truth is complete. A belief on the other hand is only required if one is at a distance from the truth, thus a belief is a form of incompleteness. Yet a group of religious believers saw it to be fit and logical to condemn the greater ( A Truth ), via the power of the lesser ( A Belief ). This insanity occurred due to these believers having proceeded to place their beliefs at the top of the ladder, and thus in doing so had also chosen to replace that which truly belongs at the top of the ladder, with that which does not.
Truth is as truthful as truth can be, and thus it is truth that should rightly sit at the top.
Beliefs can be raised, yet truth can be raised no higher. As a consequence of this, if beliefs are raised to the top, then truth must be relocated via motion in the only other direction available, the downward direction. A massive shift takes place. Truth is now given a new home at the lowest possible level. Call it the bottom of Satan’s rubbish bin. Nothing could be worse!
Once the believers have blindly redefined truth as being pure rubbish, gibberish, nonsense, etc., and do so by repositioning truth as far away as possible from where it truly belongs, naturally it becomes logical to then treat the TRUTH as though it is pure rubbish. The huge truth that was presented by this fellow, was himself. His name was Jesus Christ.
Due to the believers having positioned truth as far away as possible from where it truly belongs, Jesus Christ’s words were then to be perceived as being nothing but pure rubbish. He must be disposed of as though his value was also no more than the value of pure rubbish. Because this insanity was being approved of by so many, these actions became a reality, thus the somewhat insane proceeded to spit into his face, scourge him, and crucify him.
Thus if a person placed his or her beliefs at the top of the ladder, and thus displaced truth in the process, then the odds are extremely high that such a person will see the Anti-Christ as the Christ, the Christ as the Anti-Christ, the Satan as the God, and the God as the Satan.
Thus caution is advised.
