For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. - Ephesians 2:8-10Really? I suggest that you re-read the Gospels. Jesus told them to proclaim the Good News, but if you actually pay attention, we are told to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, visit the imprisoned, comfort the sorrowful, etc. Jesus himself did more than proclaim the Kingdom.
And, as God is my witness, if Jesus could dine with tax collectors and prostitutes, there is NO REASON anyone cannot be kind to Mormons.
I agree that Christians are to walk in the good works prepared beforehand for us to do. Good works is important for those who love God through Christ. However, our good works is not the gospel that we proclaim. There is a major distinction. Of course we are to be kind to Mormons and others outside the Christian Faith. We love Mormons by speaking the truth in love. We love all our neighbors in the way Christ commands us to love our neighbors. If you imply or explicitly tell Mormons that they are united to Christ and are your Christian siblings, you are NOT loving your Mormon relatives, neighbors, and friends. Jesus told unbelieving Jews that they were children of the devil.
