I don’t really understand… what the big deal is… with Obama’s speaking skills. I mean… okie doke… y’know, he just… usually speaks in… three or four word bursts… pauses for a second… faces the other direction… starts speaking again… sometimes he stutters… and and and and and and and and and and and he reads everything off his teleprompter… badly.

Seriously though, I have no idea where Obama’s rep with public speaking comes from. Honestly, I don’t get it.

We have been told by the MSM that Obama is an eloquent speaker. I agree with you, he is not. I don’t know who is speech writer is, but Obama’s delivery leaves much to be desired.

The reason I cannot confidently say “America will absolutely not elect Trump” is the fact that the very same America elected Obama, twice.

I think his speeches have become progressively worse too as they are riff with petty emotion now and sarcastic comedy. Imho he set the bar of dialogue for other candidates too. Problem is he always sounded like a candidate and never a President and has continued to be divisive and that has never changed.

That’s must be why Trump is the Democrat’s “secret weapon”. They couldn’t get Hillary elected without him. It wasn’t easy for them to find someone who is disliked even more than she is. 😉
 
Can’t wait to hear Trump’s speech at St Anselm’s College in New Hampshire this afternoon. I imagine it’ll be what so many are thinking but so few are saying.

Maybe it’s just me, but I I’m not thinking the kinds of things that Donald Trump seems to be thinking. I’m not thinking that we need to build a wall between Mexico and the US or that Judge Curiel is biased because he’s a “Mexican” or that Obama has secret sympathies with radical Islam or that it’s OK to mock disabled people, etc.

Well, some of us appreciate that he is measured in what he says, and isn’t full of juvenile swagger and aw-shucks good-ole boy shtick like the president before him.

Well, on the other hand, I’m not thinking of making Catholics “change their religion”. I’m not thinking of starting an unprovoked war against a country, or turning it over to terrorists, or running guns to Al Quaeda affiliates, or backing the Muslim Brotherhood, or turning over U.S. uranium to Russia for a bribe, or turning a blind eye to Wahabbist mistreatment of women and Christians for a bribe, or giving “most favored nation” trade status to China for a bribe, or taking a 16 million dollar bribe to give $55 million taxpayer dollars to a questionable for-profit “university”. Nor arm I thinking of forcing Catholic nuns to support Planned Parenthood.

The assertions against Trump don’t affect me and are ill-mannered at worst. Hillary Clinton’s actions do harm me, my children and grandchildren and potentially could harm millions of people. Wonder what Hillary’s price is for abandoning support of Taiwan or South Korea? Would a billion do it?
