Look. I am not going to defend Paula White.
Trump can be loyal to old friends to a fault.
She probably should be “Jeremiah Wrighted” (Obama’s old spiritual advisor that was dismissed when people knew what he was preaching to Obama for many years).
But theologically speaking, first of all demons can’t have babies. (They are fallen angels. Evil spirits.)
Second of all, “miscarriages” would come from God and nature.
You know “
miscarriages” and “
abortions” are
not the same thing. (Again. I am not defending Paula White here. Nor would I defend Robert Jeffress giving spiritual advice to President Trump either. But so far he hasn’t asked me.)
That being said, I would not support this woman as a spiritual advisor to me, if I were President Trump.
But President Trump also does not have the gifts of someone who has been in the Church either.
We as Catholics of course, are held to a higher standard.
To who much is given, much is required.
And in the Church that Christ founded, we have been given none other than Christ Himself totally and substantially (Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity).
But President Trump does not have these gifts available to him the same way you and I do. (Why not join me in prayer for his conversion to the fullness of Christianity? For his conversion to Catholicism?)
LUKE 12:48 48 But he who did not know, and did what deserved a beating, shall receive a light beating. Every one to whom much is given, of him will much be required; and of him to whom men commit much they will demand the more.
I am amazed President Trump has as much going for him spiritually as he has.
But if President Trump ever asks me, I will suggest to him someone I think would be better than Paula White.
