Well it seems that people who do not live in the London area seem to know more about London than those of us who do. I’ve never been to the USA, but maybe I should start to tell people from the USA what life is like there.
Rest assured that when I go in to central London tomorrow, for Confession in the Brompton Oratory, I will steel myself for the barrage of abuse I will be subjected to by Muslims as I pass through the notorious ‘no-go’ sharia zones.
But honestly, it is a bit rich when people who live on the other side of the world from me, tell me what life is like in my own city. Maybe I ought to start informing New-Yorkers about what life is like in New York, because living there they are clearly blind to the reality of what is going on all around them, and I (who have never been to New York) am in a position to see what is really happening there because I read about it online or heard a politician from my country talk about it.
Never let reality get in the way of a political narrative.
