But he stated that he wouldn’t call McCain a hero bc he was captured.Since he didn’t say that, I guess it doesn’t matter.
I guess Trump can say that since he was in the military.
Oh wait the man dodged the military.

For whatever it’s worth, I don’t think any of that’s really going to matter.Perhaps. However, I truly believe that sycophantic Trump supporters are in the minority, even within the Republican party. There are many right wingers in the “Never Trump” movement who will never support Mr. Trump under any circumstances. And I cannot see Mr. Trump winning a majority of swing voters either. Mr. Trump’s opponents in the GOP primary went very easy on him. That will not be the case in the general election. Mr. Trump will be continually on the defensive, as his background will continue to be pored over in great detail, and all of his stream-of-consciousness policy ideas will be thoroughly challenged, as Mrs. Clinton so effectively did in her recent speech. We’ll hear it almost daily from Mr. Trump…“I’m being treated so unfairly.” Hardly.
Wow , how quick conservatives leave their people.McCain totally capitalized on his “war hero” status. I can’t think of one other thing that he was concerned with. Military, veterans, blah, blah, blah. There are other topics Americans are concerned with.
We’ll see, in November after the elections I’ll come to you directly. Hopefully if he loses you don’t blame the media or liberals and take the lose as a man.He is going to be elected, you just wait and see.
Trump was a college student, what do you mean above?Oh wait the man dodged the military.
No one is taking away Trump’s right to say what is on his mind. He can say what he wants. Some are just pointing out what he said is racist. It really is fascinating how our mouths are gradually being sewn shut by the progressives. But even more fascinating is how readily and uncritically we accept it.
People have left sports teams, college, families to join the US military to fight for our country.Trump was a college student, what do you mean above?![]()
You mean like Clinton’s ‘reservation’ comment last week and various others by Obama? No worry, we understand this stuff happens. No need to riot or anything like that. Try to be more aware though. No one is taking away Trump’s right to say what is on his mind. He can say what he wants. Some are just pointing out what he said is racist.
It’s funny because Trump said his supporters would stick with him even if he shot a man dead on Fifth Avenue. Clearly, we’re getting close to that test, but so far, his supporters stand by every intrinsic evil he supports. You mean like Clinton’s ‘reservation’ comment last week and various others by Obama? Huh?But now, it’s Trump
Ted Williams one of the best baseball players of all time, stopped playing baseball and joined the marines.Trump was a college student, what do you mean above?![]()
You said that he was in college. Others, left college, others left their families to join the military.Huh?
No I don’t know what you mean nor do I see where Trump dodged the draft.![]()
If the GOP leaders got their way, Jeb Bush would be the nominee.Cruz was supposed to be this election’s fall guy, like McCain was in '08 and Romney in '12. The script was for The Establishment to hand progressive blows to those loving pro-family conservative types who want an innocent place to raise their kids (right wingers! LOL! What a crime!), because they believe in God, romance, and are creating too many carbon burners for the planet to absorb (the nerve of these people!).
So all Hillary needed to do was plaster Ted Cruz’s face into a plaid used car salesman’s sport coat and place the image on billboards across the country and her weak policy and debate skills wouldn’t have mattered. They wouldn’t have needed moderator Candy Crowley to help their candidate lie to the American people during a live debate, only to apologize for the lie a few days later when most people weren’t watching, again. People would not be able to erase the image of plaid jacketed Ted coupled with his lying cheesy pleading tones of voice. Her war chest was to be used for this advertising. It would have been a slam dunk. Until Trump put the script into the shredder.
I have no idea what your talking about in relation to your previous racism dialogue you abandoned so quickly. It’s funny because Trump said his supporters would stick with him even if he shot a man dead on Fifth Avenue. Clearly, we’re getting close to that test, but so far, his supporters stand by every intrinsic evil he supports.
Absolutely! The Americans survived the first 2 waves. Let’s see if We can go all the way!If the GOP leaders got their way, Jeb Bush would be the nominee.
Clearly he says and does things I don’t agree with, but that is his right, perhaps he will come to see things differently.Ok, I’m with you, Trump was in college, but why can he go after McCain and call him not a war hero? Trump does not hold the definition of what a hero is.
Finally something we can agree with in regards to Trump.Clearly he says and does things I don’t agree with, but that is his right, perhaps he will come to see things differently.
No. I was talking about the population generally. Accusations of “racist” are thrown around with abandon in this society, often without good reason. As perhaps you know, I was accused in this thread of being a “bigot” because I dared to say I thought Judge Curiel acted improperly in Trump’s case. Never mind the merits of the assertion. The nearest “shut your mouth” weapon at hand is “racist”, and it seems increasingly so as time goes on, notwithstanding that I doubt one in a half million people in this country are true “racists” in the sense of doing or willing anything negative on others because of their race alone. No one is taking away Trump’s right to say what is on his mind. He can say what he wants. Some are just pointing out what he said is racist.
