I don’t think that the spotlight is going to go back to Hillary any time soon because Trump is going to keep making new offensive comments that will dominate the headlines. I think that he just can’t help himself because he can’t hold his tongue when he should.

Precisely. The idea that the Trump problem will ‘go away’ is delusional wishful thinking. While i said in my previous post that Trump is terrifying, fortunately he will lose big in November. And destroy the Republican Party in the process.

He’s sorry that his attack on the people of Mexican heritage was construed as an attack on people of Mexican heritage? Then he said that the judge isn’t being fair, so can you really blame him for attacking the judge for his Mexican heritage.

Well, I’m sure that’s good enough for his supporters.

Hillary didn’t become more favorable nor trustworthy this week. She merely missed this weeks usual thrashing, but careful its early in the week still. 🙂

Trump is new to this, whats her excuse? Its good for Trump to workout these minor issues for the next month while the Democrats work on the DNC and Hillary corruption. I hear they now called Bernie a sexist because he won’t leave. Typical name calling by the Demos, racism, sexism, its in there playbook. Bernie said there is nothing to concede.

I am confident that Catholics can distinguish the difference between jokes in bad taste and racism. I am glad that those who offer those personal interpretation of Church teaching to be Church teaching are so steadfastly in support of Donald Trump’s point of view on this issue so that lurkers and newcomers can clearly see how much weight to give on their opinion on these matters.

It appears that he is trying to lose. Many Republican pundits are of that opinion; I have to agree. But he is taking the Republican Party out in the process. It’s diabolical. Best thing that ever happened to Hillary.

That fascinates me too. Especially when the woman he will run against worked hard to keep her marriage vows intact even after public infidelities.

But I have come to realize that most people here who will vote for Trump are truly just anti-Clinton. And that’s fine - each individual gets to vote his/her conscience which is as it should be. Christians can, in good faith, reach different conclusions about who is the best person for the job during elections.

The "elite’ Super Delegates switched their votes from Hillary to Obama right quick in 2008 when it became clear that Obama was winning the popular vote and the delegate vote. They would do the same thing this year IF Sanders were ahead in popular and delegate counts. Alas, Sanders is WAY behind in both.

Everyone has known the Party rules for years. I find it more than a little nuts that Sanders now wants the Super Delegates he has been disparaging for months to switch over to him when he is so far behind (and as of last night, done) with the people and the delegates. Good grief - such nonsense!

Congratulations to Hillary Clinton, our next President!

I find most of what Mr. Trump says very odd. I’ve truly given up trying to figure out what the heck he actually believes about anything.
 
Mr. Trump made his first endorsement this campaign season for Rep. Rene Ellmers of North Carolina and she’s getting clobbered, coming in third.

Trump is the American Hitler. Hope he never comes to power. He is terrifying, and it is terrifying that Catholics here support him. It’s insane, and very, very disappointing.

Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh are probably ripping him apart as we speak.

I think the reason why they support him is bc he is a “republican”. To them he could of killed millions of individuals, but since he’s a republican, he’s a good man.
