No I really don’t. Because to me Bernie ran a stronger campaign than many of the Republicans appeared to run against Trump. And winning with such low percentages earlier on isn’t something I consider significant. We’ll never know of course but I would have liked to seen the outcome had it been Trump one on one in the primaries for the most part too.
I’m a bit confused by your point. Regardless of the strength of Bernie Sanders campaign, he was one person, up against Hillary Clinton, with another candidate leaving quite early on in the race. Donald Trump had to compete with sixteen other people.

Himself? I’m not sure you read what you quoted.
But it was about his particular opinions on certain topics, but not about Mike Pence or even much about his opinion of Mike Pence which would have been more on topic.

I am curious about that as well, but let’s not get carried away: a few months ago there were polls indicating that Trump would lose a head to head against Cruz, or against Rubio, or against Kasich – more specifically, indicating that few voters had Trump as their second choice. But then over time more and more voters did have Trump as their second choice.

Add to that, even supposing that Rubio and Kasich had withdrawn early and it became a head to head between Trump and Cruz, and Cruz won it … well, I just don’t know how many Trump supporters would have gotten behind Cruz for the general.

Trump got over 50% in every state from New York onwards. Cruz wouldn’t have won a head to head, even if Kasich had dropped out when Rubio did. Trump may not have reached 1237 though.

I had no idea Pence was Catholic and left. On the other hand, VP Biden as I understand it attends Mass regularly and Catholicism is a very important part of Biden’s life. So it must be political.
I love Biden. I will miss him very much.

Indiana under Mr. Pence far outpaced the rest of the country in job creation. Total employment grew almost 10% in the state since the end of 2012, versus 6.5% for the entire U.S. A strong spot for Indiana is manufacturing. Nearly a third of the state’s economy is tied to manufacturing and Indiana added about 30,000 factory jobs during Mr. Pence’s tenure (though it’s losing some jobs from the Carrier departure Mr. Trump has cited on the campaign trail). Government employment, meanwhile, has held nearly flat since the start of 2013.

Really? Considering who the party nominee is and what he stands for (today and yesterday) I find that interesting.
Yes I realize the DemocrAt Party nominee supports unrestricted taxpayer abortion on demand homosexual marriage and forcing nuns buy contraception. I also realize that Joe Biden is a member of this party and back to 100%. It is very sad-especially since he is Catholic

Trump was very clever. He knew that every single network was covering his announcement of vice president so we gave a 30 minute campaign speech and then introduce Pence. He is the master of getting free airtime

Pence just ordered a sandwich, added, “no rush.”

Nope, it doesnt bother me one bit.
I view it as problematic, but then again, most people are voting for Trump because he is a lesser evil. There is not much positive that Trump brings to the table, just the he is marginally better than Hillary.

Then I am not most people. I think, if he wins, he will be one of the greatest Presidents ever.

Right. And in the meantime we will see a tremendous increase in terrorism in our country because Trump will

a) alienate our well-integrated Muslim community and provoke many more ‘lone wolves’
b) his ‘Muslim ban’ (which will never happen, by the way) will be used as perfect recruiting tool by ISIS over and over again.

I you think Trump will ‘make America safe’, you are delusional. The opposite will happen.

His real slogan is not “make America great again”, but “make America hate again”. He is the most divisive candidate we have had in decades (George Wallace 1968 was maybe comparable to some extent). Hillary and Obama are polarizing (no surprise given the political climate), but not divisive in their ideas and attitude.
