President Donald Trump delivered a speech to the nation Thursday celebrating his impeachment trial acquittal the day before, blasting the process as “crooked” and thanking the “incredible warriors” who sided with him during the ordeal.

Trump described the event as a celebration of another victory over the “evil” forces allied against him.

“Today is the day to celebrate these great warriors, right?” Trump said. “These are great warriors. They really fought hard for us.” . . .

Spotted at the event were former Sen. Rick Santorum, Reps. Jim Jordan (R-OH), Matt Gaetz (R-CA), Mark Meadows (R-NC), Elise Stefanik (R-NY), Louis Gohmert (R-TX) House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), Sens. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Bill Cassidy (R-LA), Mike Braun (R-IN), Mike Lee (R-UT), Chuck Grassley (R-IA), Josh Hawley (R-MO), Trump campaign . . .

“We’ve all been through a lot together,” said Trump thanking his supporters who gave him a standing ovation as he entered the room.

“We went through h***, unfairly,” Trump said, repeating that he did “nothing wrong” to deserve impeachment. . . .

. . . He ripped Democrats like House Oversight Chairman Adam Schiff (“a failed screenwriter”) and Speaker Nancy Pelosi (“a horrible person”), mocking the House Speaker’s insistence that she was praying for the president. “I doubt she prays at all,” he said.

Trump denounced the entire process as “crooked politics” . . .

“These people have been stone-cold crazy, we beat them once and we’ll beat them again,” he said. . . .

. . . He also mocked Iowa Democrats for failing to properly count their caucus results. They “can’t count some simple votes, and yet they want to take over your health care system,” he quipped. As he continued with his speech, the Democratic National Committee ordered a total recanvass of votes cast at Monday’s Iowa caucuses.

“It was all bu******,” Trump said about the “Russia, Russia, Russia” hoax and the Robert Mueller investigation and FBI surveillance. The president mused about whether he should sue former MI6 spy Christopher Steele for the discredited oppo-research dossier which gave cover for federal surveillance of his campaign.

Trump noted that he was under attack from the establishment since the beginning, criticizing several D.C. operatives as “dirty cops,” “leakers,” and “liars.” . . .

Looked like a Cult meeting.
Everybody was evil
He was good and perfect
He was a victim
How you ask a foreign leader for a TV appearance to hurt his political opponent 24 hours after Mueller testified is one of the most arrogant acts in history. And the nation went through an impeachment because of it. You want to encourage him and call him a victim, he will be at it in days and we will end up in hearings again

Donald Trump: Democrats Will ‘Cook Up’ More Investigations Despite Acquittal

President Donald Trump on Thursday predicted that congressional Democrats will “cook up” more investigations against him, despite his acquittal in the Senate impeachment trial.

The president made the remark during a celebratory White House press conference, where he once again denounced the origins of both the Russia and impeachment investigations and thanked allies for their support through the two ordeals.

“We went through h***,” the president said. “I’m sure that Pelosi, Cryin’ Chuck… [will] try and cook up other things.” . . .

. . . In addition to President Trump, others have predicted that Democrats could continue investigating him, including House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Devin Nunes (R-CA).

“The problem is, this isn’t going to end,” Nunes told Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson Tonight last month. “I just can’t imagine that Adam Schiff, after three-and-a-half years of this nonsense, and Jerry Nadler are not going to continue this, right?… We’re going to have the same exact thing that you’ve been seeing for the last three-and-a-half years. I just think you should prepare.” . . .

They don’t need to cook anything up that crook can’t help himself. They need to stay vigilant because he can’t function without cheating apparently.
They are on notice.
Of course at this time there remains eye witnesses and public records disclosure which will continue to prove the case. Can’t stop books.

A cult meeting? No, decent people fighting back against corrupt politicians.

He was a victim. The democrat party has tried to destroy him for 3 years.

Justice prevailed and prayers were answered.

Fighting back? They are defending an impeached president who got saved by McCONELL.
Democrats were in the minority and the GOP investigated Trump. That’s why there was no possible exposure at the end.

Trump is the greatest president in the last 100 years. God bless him!
MAGA

I see a disgraced impeached president.
Between curses and insults that included people’s faith, he basically exclaimed," I wuz framed."
With a room full of scared yes men.
That’s what’s going on here. Nothing more

And you this is true how? A transcript of the call was made public BY TRUMP, witnesses testified before the House they never heard Trump say he would withhold the money until whatever happened. Trump told Sondland he wanted nothing. Sondland testified to that fact.

The Senate acquitted Trump. Get over it man, your side lost again.

I see a lot of insults; a media with no sense of shame or objectivity; and some folks with foaming-at-the-mouth hatred.

I also see record low unemployment, especially of minorities; job growth; wage growth; a roaring stock market; many new conservative judges filling the federal courts; and toughness against Islamic terrorists.

Sorry max, if you don’t like him, you’ll have to beat him in the electoral college at this point.

You left out the second part of that Sondland quote
You left out the NSA.
But nobody contests Sondland’s testimony that Trump wanted the call," to box him in."
He’s impeached. Get over it

Always been the plan.
But Bolton first
Schiff claims that after the vote against having more witnesses went down to defeat on Friday, Jan. 31, Democrats reached out to Bolton’s legal counsel to try to get an affidavit from Bolton about what he knew. According to Schiff, Bolton refused to submit such an affidavit.

So if that’s actually true, that means after all that, after all the nonsense that the Democrats pulled over it, Bolton wasn’t willing to speak up or isn’t able to back up the claimed report under oath.

So either he’s saving it all for the book or the report was only about teasing something that wasn’t real to hurt the president. All the liberals who had embraced Bolton over the claim are now flipping on a dime saying to boycott his book.

When you read that did it make one of your glasses fall off. Lol

And I see the ends don’t justify the means.

If your local school superintendent gave a deranged, vindictive speech like that, would you be okay with it or would you move for his/her ouster?

He had to be supoeanaed. A voluntary submission of an affidavit to a Democrat impugning Trump would end his career.
This guy apparently thinks he can salvage his career if he tells the truth.
He doesn’t realize he is already marked to serve as an example to those who dare cross THE TRUMP.
The time to deny the Times report is passed, and so is the time when Trump would not make him a mandatory example of disobedience.

There is zero evidence of him asking for this.
In this sense, he is a victim, of an ongoing and evolving series of lies.

Two eye witnesses to the phone call with Trump where Trump specifically said it directly to Sondland, one of the eye witnesses. In a few weeks Bolton will corroborate it.
" To box him in"
Trump is no victim. He is a victimhood merchant.

You have access to the transcript. Supply the quote where he says he need Zelenskiy to hurt a political opponent. A specific quote from a reliable source

Are Trump supporters okay with this:

When Arthur Brooks, a conservative columnist, encouraged guests at the breakfast to “love your enemies” and set aside contempt, Trump pointedly said that he did not concur.

“I don’t know if I agree with you. I don’t know if Arthur is going to like what I’m going to say,” he said, before attacking both Pelosi and Romney from the dais at the Washington Hilton.

And he kicked off the day at the National Prayer Breakfast by questioning the two lawmakers’ claims about the role religion plays in their public lives.

“I don’t like people who use their faith as justification for doing what they know is wrong. Nor do I like people who say, ‘I pray for you,’ when they know that that’s not so,” he told a room full of religious leaders.
