I would suggest being a bit more specific in your language. As Catholics, we should not be “anti-gay” when talking about people. All are God’s children.

You might be “anti-gay marriage”, or “anti-adoption rights for same sex unions”…which is issue based, but saying you are “anti-gay” has connotations not in line with Catholic teaching.

Peace.
I will reword what I say from now on. We don’t want to make it look like we hate gay people.

Tone down your rhetoric. You can be against gay marriage, without being anti-gay. Unless, you have a problem with gay people in general. Do you?
I am bothered by gay people and their influence on society. It is good to show Christian love towards them though.

I started a new Trump thread because this one’s running a little past the thousand-post limit.

Just for the record.

I put a little conspiracy theory over there if anybody’s interested.

I noticed, too, that Mr. Trump was wearing a flag pin when he gave his speech last night. You can’t be a good American without wearing a flag pin. 😉
I don’t judge one’s patriotism by what one wears or doesn’t wear on his/her lapel. I don’t wear a flag pin because I very rarely wear anything with a lapel on which I can hang a pin. If someone wants to ask me about my patriotism, I can show my DD-214 – which Mr. Trump does not have.

I think the wink was meant to imply that he was being cheeky.
