You know I have small kids. I never saw that coloring book. Odd he was able to find it.
 
The vast majority of my friends have supported Donald Trump for close to a year now, and I don’t know even one who’s said “we’ll now he’s crossed the line and gone too far and I can no longer vote for him”, which makes me suspect that growing disenchantment with Trump is a media creation.

The fact that many of my fellow Americans aren’t disturbed by the things Trump says and does is, well, kind of disturbing…

Very good news. Trump met with Cruz privately today - also spoke to the House Republicans. Clear attempts to reach out and build a coalition of conservative voters. Let’s hope this trend continues and that Trump hones his “deal making” skills in this regard. Ironically, this comes simultaneously with the Lynch/Obama/Comey/Clinton deal 😉 so events could foster GOP unity here as well.

Apologies–false or otherwise–are not part of Trump’s personality. This is one feature of what psychologists have called the authoritarian personality, that is, the inability to admit any kind of perceived weakness in oneself.
 
There’s an article in the Washington Post about how Trump was meeting with Senate Republicans to shore up party unity and what did Trump do, he attacked several GOP senators (he called one a loser) and said they would lose their reelection bids.

Hopefully after this election, we can all start calling Donald a “loser”. If he wins, his ego will be even bigger than it already is.

In which case, the entire American populace will also be “losers”. But, it must be admitted, Bill Clinton’s speaking fees will increase; probably to over a million apiece. Surrendering Taiwan to China would probably cost $100 million, but China has that much.

It was Senator Kirk who he called a loser but I thought this exchange with Jeff Flake was also interesting.
Trump’s most tense exchange was with Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.), who has been vocal in his concerns about the business mogul’s candidacy, especially his rhetoric and policies on immigration that the senator argues alienate many Latino voters and others in Arizona.

Excellent news. I thought Cruz might come around. He is quite the pragmatist at heart - let’s face it. I don’t see him as too much of a sentimentalist. I saw an interview Tony Perkins did on Fox where he was basically begging Trump to throw Evangelicals a figurative bone or two. This shift could be seismic. It tightens the screws on the NeverTrumpers too, NR et al., Romney.

Yes, but unfortunately he will bow his head and accept the “elite privilege” which Warren triumphantly did, very disappointing mind you. We shall see, I suspect Bernie will bow his head and mumble something incoherent about voting for Hillary and call it anyone but Trump so all is imagined well with conscience. I imagine its a quite common behavior with tyranny and conscience and we could call it multi issue voting! 🙂
 
I’m noticing an interesting trend in this thread: Those who personally support Ms. Clinton tend to emphasize what the Republican Party should do - namely, overthrow the will of their own rank and file - and say little about what individual voters should do. Those who support Mr. Trump are the opposite: Emphasizing individual actions over actions by the party.

Just interesting to me how people’s posts tend to indirectly reflect the philosophy of their chosen candidate.
