The same thing that all the other celebrities were doing: Trying to be selected Celebrity Apprentice and have money donated to the charity of their choice. Consider that the comment was said in a board room and it was like a job interview.
And Brande, the Playboy Bunny, is the one who happened to be on her knees. Oh brother. And this is Trump’s fault somehow? I have no sympathy for her actions as being like Lil’ Bo Peep. I won’t go further on this because this is a family forum.

This is part of the political correctness deal and it is just a tv show, perhaps semi-scripted.

No, it did not. The video and your link show that the comment started with Bret Michaels:
" Bret explains to his eventual executioners that, at one point, Brande “got down on her knees and passionately said, ‘I want to do this.’” The innuendo was too thick for a goon like Donald Trump to let the statement simply slide.

“Excuse me, you DROPPED to your knees?”, Trump directs towards Brande."
It did start with Trump because he made it sexual. Micheals didn’t imply anything sexual and neither did Brande, Trump did. If he hadn’t used the literal description of her actions in a sexual context he would have been fine. At first it appears he sees her getting on her knees and begging as being undignified. I get that Trump would be critical of that. Why didn’t it stop there? It could have. Trump sullied the conversation with hi prurient remark.

Also, a number of commentators straight out say, that question of things Trump has said would not have been asked any other candidate.

We could ask all kinds of embarrassing things to nearly every person there is.

On her knees begging to do a task.

This reminds me of a comment this guy I know said about a Christian singer who sang on song that had lyrics about being on her knees. Was that an okay thing to say? It (the thought) was history at the time but I wish I didn’t know he ever thought that…no, actually it’s good to know that. It’s useful to me to know if people think that way and have no shame to put it out there.

If one is going to be getting on Trump, let’s see, who asked the question? Check Kelly’s interview with Howard Stern years back as if she should be speaking and as I said the pundits say that was an odd question, it was like prejudicizing the jury.

Check out Megyn Kelly’s interview with Howard Stern if one wants to talk about raunchy, as many pundits say, that question would not have been asked many other politicians, particularly Democrats. Unfair, personal question.

I am not buying your argument because the video and your link show that the comment started with Bret Michaels.

But the questions show what Trump is made of just like the other candidates. The questions seemed to zero in on each candidates weak spots. Kelly’s question was a one-two-three punch with Trump hitting himself thrice: first making the comments about women in the first place, then those about Rosie O. (why, WHY did he bring her up. He accuses others of inserting themselves into situations in order to be relevant but he brought her up this time.) The he says he might not be nice to Kelly anymore. (For Pete’s sake, is he a 5th grade girl?)then the petty Tweets following the debate. Oy.

I know what it shows and Micheals was describing her actions, body language that is symbolic of begging or being subservient or humble, and in this case begging. Trump made it sexual.

The polls show Mr. Trump gaining points after the debate and winning the women’s vote.

What polls?

I don’t see him as a serious candidate at all but Minnesota has elected a former wrestler and a comedian from SNL so I’m prepared for anything.

Al Franken may well not have been elected, save votes by felons and also, possibly because of the Lutheran (ELCA) Church and others sponsoring 1000s of Somali refugees. For that blame immigration.

For Jesse, well, there are other politicians who are worse. Jesse Ventura might even have some decent ideas but I don’t think he was an effective governor from what I’ve heard.

I lived in the Washington, D.C area and anyone who commented on either thought they were a joke. Less so Franken, but they still thought it was a dubious choice.

So, these people thought a Navy Seal was a joke? You can just as easily say a Navy Seal was elected governor and he may well be better than some governors that have been out there.

What polls? .
“Trump does have the advantage with pretty much every segment of the GOP electorate- he’s up with Evangelicals, men, women, voters in every age group, moderates, voters who are most concerned with having the candidate who is most conservative on the issues, and voters who are most concerned about having a candidate who can win the general election.”

That is unfortuante. Obama backlash anyone?

Hardly the same thing. If it weren’t for the fakery and drama and other less noble aspects of pro wrestling and if he had won a gold medal in wrestling I don’t think anyone would have questioned it.

So? Jesse Ventura doesn’t seem like one of those abortion promoting politicians out there, friends of Planned Parenthood. That is one of low morals.

I didn’t see Senator Al Franken defund planned parenthood along with a number of other senators, you want shame, that is shameful.

Or winning Planned Parenthood’s “Sanger award”, as Democratic candidate Clinton did.

Someone can uncharitably describe others as a “joke” too, almost a laugh but nearly a cry as they say. I could go into specifics but I think it’s extremely unkind to use “I know other people who say this” and then, call these peoples this name. This is shameful.

I could say “I know people who call this person so and so a racial epithet”, understand, I’m not saying it. This is abhorrent. This becomes a way to get around personally using such language.
