That’s the only silver lining to this election is that in some way – by sticks or by carrots – he reduces abortion.

And one way he plans to do it is by ignoring serious environmental harms, like climate change, and promoting dirty fuels that kill people locally in many ways and thru climate change, so that by annihilating a large chunk of humanity over the decades and centuries (by our actions now and failing to address the issues before reaching points of no return) we can effectively reduce abortion. No people, no abortions!!
Where in the world are you coming up with all that nonsense. And who are those politicians
that fly around in jets, on taxpayers money, while polluting our air. You got to be kidding. God Bless, Memaw

Did you not read my post? They are afraid of the increase of harassment by his supporters. Pretending to be blind to it is just…ugh. Aren’t the posters here whining about the persecution of Christians by the liberals not too long ago? Anyway, I digress…

Unsubscribing. I forgot how Americans are like lol 😊
Guess whose supporters have been violent !!! God Bless, Memaw

That’s how I feel about it. 😦

I could have told Hillary about how racist Wisconsin is, having experienced it myself, and that the so-called white elite women there (whom she depended on for votes) are as racist as the white working class people.

As for the rust belt, Michael Moore (who came from the working class there and knows the people well) has a good explanation of how they went for Trump:

Not sure if those who voted for Trump want to have Social Security and Medicare cut or reduced (in exchange for tax breaks mostly for the rich), but they’d probably agree with having Medicaid and other programs for the poor cut out, and no help for the poor to go to college.

And of course sending undocumented parents back to Mexico, so their US-born children and spouses (who are unable to work now bec they have to care for the kids) go onto welfare…which will be cut, of course. So no problem to the elites classes in that department, since they’ll be getting tax breaks.
Michael Moore needs to run off with all the money he made from his movies and leave
Americans alone that are struggling to earn a living and provide for themselves and their families. Yes, hard working Americans are angry and have a right to be. I for one won’t be regretting my vote for Trump. And I am sure there are many that don’t regret Brexit. It takes courage to go into the unknown when you need change. It is a risk we have to take. Voting for Hillary would have been the same road Obama took us on which was leading nowhere.
I wouldn’t pay a lot of attention to Michael Moore if I were you. He won’t get you anywhere either, but he will manipulate your emotions along the way.

Who’s harassing?

Most Americans just want to be left alone and not be forced into politically correct non-sense of late.

The entire state of Wisconsin is racist? Weird that President Obama carried the state twice. They must have all decided they hate minorities over the last two weeks.

Michael Moore is an extreme liberal conspiracy theorist who has been discredited repeatedly.
Not sure if those who voted for Trump want to have Social Security and Medicare cut or reduced (in exchange for tax breaks mostly for the rich), but they’d probably agree with having Medicaid and other programs for the poor cut out, and no help for the poor to go to college.
Frankly, I would like Social Security and Medicare eliminated for my generation. I would like to let my children get off the merry-go-round of paying for somebody else to retire. As for help for the poor to go college, there are Pell Grants, student loans and plenty of other financial tools to accomplish that goal. Quite frankly college tuition is already heavily subsidized and there is a huge surplus of Americans with degrees who cannot find work.

And even more to the point, the non-political liberals (those not in office who don’t know the truth) need to open their eyes to the reality of the plight of the poor. Namely the problem with poverty as we know it in America is not entirely quantitative, it’s mostly qualitative. We need to find ways to strengthen marriage, make school choice an option and reduce taxes in urban areas so that businesses may actually be able to thrive in such areas. After $22,000,000,000,000 spent on LBJ’s “Great Society” programs, the high school graduation rates among inner city minorities are the same as they were when the program started. Meanwhile marriage has been obliterated, there has been a dramatic increase in single parents (and God bless them as it beats the alternative of abortion) and a decrease in upward mobility for minorities. Throwing more tax money at it is not doing the trick. It might help you sleep at night but it’s not doing an ounce of good. The plan put forward by Paul Ryan is a serious plan that deserves a thorough review by sober minded people of good will.

The bottom line is that if we had a loved one, such as one of our children struggling with problems. I pray we wouldn’t just throw money at them, move them from program to program without actually also rolling up our own sleeves and getting involved, providing spiritual help and guidance. The liberal plan for the poor is simply to throw more money into programs that are not working…and free abortions.
And of course sending undocumented parents back to Mexico, so their US-born children and spouses (who are unable to work now bec they have to care for the kids) go onto welfare…which will be cut, of course. So no problem to the elites classes in that department, since they’ll be getting tax breaks.
This comment is extremely hyperbolic. Realistic people know that Trump may very well proceed with doing something dramatic to increase border security. However, once he begins working with congress to find acceptable solutions to immigration issues he will find in short order that there is no appetite for mass deportations.

Right because before Trump and before all the liberals started trying to shut down Chrisitians we used to run around the streets looking for minorities, homosexuals, transgenders and atheists to harass.

I have fond childhood memories of going to mass on Sunday, going to brunch, coming home for a quick change of clothes and then going out to harass people. Ah the good times we had: spray painting houses, sitting on the park bench waiting to harangue somebody who deserved it, which of course we knew because those people had to wear a special identifier if they were not a white, hetero Christian. Oh those halcyon days.

Your comments about his supporters are laughable and fiction.

Your comments about America are offensive. Last time I checked, we are the freest nation in the world compared to others. We allow you to speak your nonsense. But oh, I see you wont read this because you are “afraid” of us deplorable. Okay then. 🤷

And Congress has the right to then deny appellate jurisdiction to the Supreme Court regarding such new definition.
Congress being the House and the filibuster-proof Senate. At least recognize the real limitations involved in doing anything legislatively.

I think he’s open to overturning the “right” to gay “marriage”.

At least by appointing justices that don’t make legal pretzels.
His quote was that it was a matter for the States and the people to decide, not the courts. I guess that makes him ‘homophobic’ 🤷

I am enjoying the media this morning and certainly all the comments by liberals: “oh the country is so divided”, “people are hurting”, “people are upset”.

Now it matters that 50% of the electorate is upset? Why didn’t all these people care when the other side was upset about contraceptive mandates, talk of forcing us to fund abortions, putting people out of business? Oh because the other side is backwards and wrong and “on the wrong side of history” according to Nostrobamas.

The reactions speak volumes: conservatives voted, brought legal action, funded groups that advocate for them. Liberals cancel tests for stressed out college students, burn down their own cities, cry about fairness and call everybody not with them racists, homophobes, backwards, medieval.

Yet liberals are the ones fearful of violence. It’s called projecting. And it’s very telling.

They are also contributing to killing people well on into the future, since climate change (if we don’t drastically mitigate it as Pope Francis admonishes us to do) can last for over 100,000 years, continuing to kill people, assuming there are any left kill after the first few centuries or millennia. That’s what we’re busy as bees tipping into right now. There isn’t much time left to steer the “Titanic” away from grave harms to humanity and God’s good creation (He pronounced it “good” by the way).

The media deserves all the long faces and the handwringing. We rejected their messed up view of America!!!

Read some of the comments below that video and you will see the mind of some in this country. It’s very sad.

I would call people holding such views as “deplorables,” indeed.
Both actions are deplorable.

One fueled by identity/resentment politics. Other fueled by racism.

They’re interdependent.

Both need to be extinguished.
