I will admit to being very surprised by this outcome. I am not happy about it but that’s OK.

Now the GOP have both houses and the Presidency. Let’s see if all of the talk of what they will do to end abortion pans out. I don’t see it happening.

I look forward to a less corrupt justice department and a new Secretary of health and human services that is NOT pro abortion.

And a Secretary of State that does not ignore our ambassadors.

Indeed.
I voted for life.
And trump won the white house.
AND Republicans hold the house.
AND Republicans hold the Senate.

And we could have a pro life supreme Court.

I expect to see something done.
Amen!👍🇺🇸

I was surprised at how happy I was to see states slip from Clinton’s grasp. I didn’t vote for Trump, but living in the middle of the country I do understand why people here were for him, and it has nothing to do with hate or racism or any of those other things. People are just really, really fed up with Washington.

I also think that if he approaches the office of President the way he made his victory speech, we may do a lot better than we thought. I do not think Clinton would have been so gracious.

So I’m cautiously optimistic, which surprises me as much as anyone else.
Yeah.

The middle class is tired of being treated like sheep to be fleeced all the while condescended to by the chattering classes. They are tired of being taxed to death and rewarded for their hard work by being laid off.

I know I am.

I am surprised. Also pretty disgusted with Colorado right now. Assisted suicide passed with a big margin. The Bishops here have already come out and condemned it, good for them. I don’t think people realize that Compassion and Choices, the group which pushed the proposition, was the Hemlock Society. They just renamed themselves. Makes me sick to my stomach. “Have problems? Here, let’s help you jump off a bridge.”

I don’t think Colorado is a battle ground state anymore. Minimum wage increase to 12$ by 2020 also passed. Less than ten years ago I worked for 6.25 an hour. Should it really double in only fifteen years? Sheesh, no wonder housing is getting so unaffordable out here. Moving is a real possibility.
Colo.'s continued devolution into the liberal progessive abyss,is due in large part by the legalization of pot.We were solidly red a few decades ago,now solidly blue,we are cooked here in this beautiful state.:😦

Yeah.

I hear ya. We make just enough to have to suffer for it. But we are in debt and live paycheck to paycheck if we are lucky. Ugh!

The news came too late for most of the country, but there were some sporadic protests on the West Coast after the news was announced. Today I expect to see mass protests, roads shutdowns, and school walkouts. The left is not going to take this well.
big reports on that already on breaking.news.ie world news

Given that abortion is Constitutionally protected (by SCOTUS if not in fact) let’s at least acknowledge the impossibility that abortion can be ended legislatively. Beyond that, since the Republicans don’t control 60 votes in the Senate, even if abortion could be legally banned there is no possibility such a bill could withstand a Democrat filibuster. It’s valid to hold Republicans responsible for not doing what they could do, but it is irrational to expect them to do what cannot be done.

I don’t get this. Trump is still quite liberal. They pretty much won either way. Just one is a little more liberal than the other. I see us treading water these next four years, not getting better or worse, just the same.

I fell to my knees when my son told me Trump won! Thank you Lord Jesus. Phew!

Oh, my God, I did not want to see that woman for four years and watch as the controlled media would try to deceive and misinform the American people and pretend to justify the killings of millions and threats of wars etc… oh, please. Thank God we don’t have to put up with her and her puppet masters. Trump will give diplomacy it’s rightful place and so we hope, but with Hillary there wouldn’t even have been hope.

Let’s drain the swamp and take Washington back. 👍

Enough of that nightmare, let’s turn the page and work to make not only America great but the whole world. Victory!

I, for one, feel avenged for being called a racist, homophobe, xenophobe(whatever that is)islamaphope, sexist, hayseed!!!
I think we have the right to gloat for one day after enduring this mischaracterization for months and months. Just my opinion!

Donald Trump has saved America and the world from anti-Catholic, atheistic communistic, leadership! He went up against far left political correctness, the democratic machine, and the media and defeated them all. Let’s continue to pray for our country, our leaders, our enemies, leaders of all nations, and Donald Trump. Let’s pray that abortion and same sex marriage come to an end and religious freedom is restored. Let’s pray for this not only these 4 years but that hope and goodness and God may reign in America until Christ comes again!

Immaculate Virgin Mary, we love you, pray for us!

What was the final electoral count ,anyone know?
Several states have still not been called including Michigan, Minnesota, and New Hampshire. Expect Trump to end up with about 300 electoral votes if he holds on to Michigan, where he currently leads.

The funny thing is that many “experts” predicted about this margin of victory, except not for Trump.

CNN currently has Trump at 289, Clinton 218.
