And repeal Obamacare, reinstate Mexico Policy, stop making abortion a condition of aid, stop forcing controversial agendas, replace Department head dictators, etc.

They can do it if they have the will.
 
What’s up with those celebrities saying they’ll leave if Trump is elected? Can we get a follow-up story on that? 😉

As of 1145 EST the Dow is up 146, the Nasdaq is up 36, and the S&P is up 16. Must have been a very short-lived shock 😃
 
Well…I voted for DT…but I still don’t trust him…now we have a president with an ego as wide as the grand canyon with his hand on the nuclear button…and Russia has an equally egotistical president with his hand on the nuclear button…if that isn’t a recipe for disaster…maybe in four years IF Roe v Wade has been overturned…and IF this country has been reunited…and IF freedom of religion can be guaranteed…and IF the world is a safer place then maybe I might see the hand of God in all of this…until then I’ll still doubt whether I’ve helped elect a wolf in sheeps clothing
 
The Democrats need to see this for what it really is.

Concerning the State dept, Trump may have the will, but given that John Bolton was involved with the Trump campaign, I highly doubt there will be any state dept changes in policy, except perhaps with Russia, which may lead to positive results. Our involvement in the ME quagmire is sure to worsen if Bolton has any say. I wish we could renegotiate Obama’s 38B donation with Israel, making it conditional on resolution of their differences with the Palestinians.

I am not unhappy seeing Clinton lose, but I do have some anxiety about Trump having any part of nuclear bomb decisions. In addition, I think that it would be a “yuge” error to reverse our treaty with Iran, given that the treaty itself has language that makes everything go back to sanctions if they reneg. My thinking is that perhaps a warming relationship with Russia will carry with it a less hostile one toward Iran, but people like Bolton will be pushing the opposite direction. I pray that the results are more fruitful than the are tragic.

Are you a little worried about nuclear war? If not, why not? I would feel safer if he made Bernie Sanders our Secty of State!

What treaty with Iran? Are you referring to the nuclear deal that gave them 1.5 billion plus 400 million of that in cash for ransom? That deal? I hope and pray that’s one of the first things to go!!!
 
This election has taught me something that is very hard to bear. I am surrounded by people who hate me. People who want me dead…who wish that I would just disappear. I am hated for my gender. My colleagues is hated for their sexual orientation. My friends are hated for their race. I am hated for being educated.
It’s really hard to take. My human response it to hate those who wish me and my loved ones harm. How am I to love my enemies? The ones who are so gleeful in their hatred here on this very thread?

If you have been listening to Donald Trump, he is not some war monger but a business man. Listen to his winning speech, he wants unity and to be friends with other nations. Continue to pray for him and America.

I do too, unless we Catholics get our rear going and take evangelization seriously. I feel like this is the extension given to King Hezekiah before the Babylonians came in. I’m concerned about what’s coming down the pike. However, one day at a time.
