(I am referring to the man in work clothes) I consider that attire appropriate for MASS…in my prior texts, I was referring to Dressing inappropriately by wearing Leggings…Men always seem to wear clothes that are never revealing. I praise you for your work and appreciate the fact that you are out there earning an honest living! Men have to work to support their families and seem to hardly ever be absent. They don’t follow any fads cause there aren’t any for them to follow…I appreciate them for who they are. Having had a background in the engineering field, my co-workers where predominantly male. I have never and will not ever support equal pay for women…No…hard working men are always appreciated…God Bless you for all you do!

Yea…I would agree that most of the women who wear Leggings have a weight problem…Please remember that your body is a gift and you should take care of it! Clothes always look better when they are appropriate to your size…height, weight. for the young getting out in the working world…my advice…for women…buy the four basic colors for slacks and/or shirts/dresses…in Navy, Black, Brown, Tan. Then buy several tweed jackets. Shoes also in Navy, Black, Brown, Tan…perferably in low to mid-heel pumps. Tops can be a variety of colors to match. Oh, a nice leather purse. Jewelry in conservative style, not the large plastic necklaces that I see lately, ugh! Ladies should always have a cute little black dress for parties and a nice string of pearls and earrings to match. If you are on a budget, then buy one piece at a time. Believe me because this is how I started out in the working world. Spend more on working clothes that casual clothes. For casual, a nice pair of quality jeans always go perfectly with a white, cotton blouse! Oh more advice on the material of business clothes…wool gaberdine, cotton, rayon. Wool last forever. Stay away from polyester! It retains odors and doesn’t last! Observe how the men dress in the office…always nice and professional.

Hello…? Men’s styles have remained the same for years…suits do not change in style…dress shirts also remain the same with small changes to the collar, maybe…cufflinks are just wonderful! Wow! Women should learn more about fashion!

Hello…? Um, OK then.

By that logic then…suits are suits, dress shirts are dress shirts, women’s dresses are dresses, skirts are skirts and pants are pants. Forget the changes in tailoring which drive the fads in the different styles of men’s suits. As a guy I’ve noticed the styles in suits have become much tighter, form fitting (especially through the inseam) and much shorter pants (gotta show those designer socks).

I don’t wear a suit to church though. Since it’s winter, usually jeans and a cotton twill or a sweater. My wife will wear a longer sweater or pullover, taller boots and…leggings…because cold.

Not to hijack, but…I’m not sure why anyone wouldn’t support equal pay for the same job. That’s money out of our household’s pocket

What’s not classy about a long sweater, leggings and boots.
Because where I am, the sweater isn’t long and doesn’t cover the butt or crotch and the leggings look more like tights (i.e. long underwear).

WOW. You are very judgemental.
But then, you also hold Barbi up as a model for women.
So glad we do not travel in the same circles, you have some very toxic ideas.

Leggings…classy?
Yep, can be.
There’s nothing classy about them! They are just thick panty hose worn by women that just grab anything to wear and rush out the door all the while passing an important last step…looking in the mirror and seeing what everyone else is going to see…!
Your opinion…way, way out there opinion. OK, if they’re nothing more than thick pantyhose, what’s wrong with leggings worn under a long sweater, pull-over or skirt? I’ll hang up and listen.
Now there is leggings. It is like putting water in a balloon…every curve shows…nothing left to the imagination! Why not just go nude? ****she wobbled by as others looked and snickered! So embarrassing. **** Please look in the mirror and face the fact that you need to slim down! 😳 Start exercising! God created this body for you. Don’t abuse it! Love yourself, loose weight and anything classy will look good on you!
You honestly need to take a step back. It’s getting ridiculous and bordering on insulting.

I’m wondering if there’s an age gap or something here.

Please don’t judge me, unless you are perfect! I was expressing my opinion only…you have the choice of not reading it. I must admit the fact that I am particular about my appearance…I like style and that is not toxic! It is sad when certain things said elevates the emotions of others.

One particularly disturbing Trend in men’s wear that I have noticed lately is that “skinny pants" are a thing for men now, too.
Love yourself, loose weight and anything classy will look good on you
Even leggings? 😁

Personal insults…no way! I am not stating my opinion to cause any intimidation. My expression is based only on what I see in everyday life and at Mass! One Sunday at Mass, the man praying the Rosary paused while looking at this young women walking up the aisle to sit in the front pew. Her attire…extremely tight Leggings on an obese body! 🎈

Um…you insinuated up thread that the only women who wear leggings are overweight and need to lose weight, after a few posters made mention that they wear them.

She wore nothing else? Interesting. Again, sounds like that may have been user error rather than equipment.

No, not leggings! Nice tan pants, a black sweater, and leopard printed scarf! Tunics were created for cover-ups over leggings . . . . Slender women don’t look good in leggings either cause…as I have expressed previously, they show every curve ! I

clothes are a very powerful way to communicate who we are, what we wear affects the way we feel about ourselves. Wearing revealing clothes or trashy clothing indicates one is rebelling, or unhappy, or depressed, or have low self-esteem, or maybe lacks knowledge of what is appropriate.
So Legs, what was it for you when you were wearing your mini skirts? Rebelling? Unhappy? Depressed, or low self esteem?

You have an awful lot to say about what other people should be wearing.

Wow, you are something else.
Here you have insulted 3 groups of people.

Um…you do realize I’m a woman? Also overnight janitor is like $10/hr, no benefits. I don’t think anyone could support a family on that.
