Most Catholic churches don’t have a dress code. So if someone wants to wear pants, we welcome them. Same if a man doesn’t wear a suit.Ok, for those of you who were trying to reach me, I am here now. It is not that I am shocked about seeing women wearing pants,** I am shocked that not just women but men dont’ dress up for Church. I am came from a background where you have to wear dresses and the men had to wear a suit for Church.** I don’t have a problem seeing women wear slacks. I personally prefer seeing that over short-shorts. The bottom-line here is that it doesn’t bother me whatever you wear as long as it is not too distracting from the main purpose of being in Mass, and that is to worship our Lord and God too.
I wear lots of pants and capris. I might wear a skirt once in a while, but I never wear dresses. They don’t fit my frame.
(I’m glad no one has ever barred me from entering a church.
