Âdam (Arabic: آدم‎, translit. ʾĀdam) is believed to have been the first human being and the first prophet on Earth in Islam.

Since you guys favour wikipedia. 🙂

If you notice Muhammad existed BEFORE Adam was formed.

.

If you notice Muhammad existed BEFORE Adam was formed.

.
So if Mohammed existed before Adam was formed, there should be a scholar who knew of Mohammed before the Quran said “Mohammed is the Prophet of God”

What a bizarrely irrational conclusion Martin

Was there a scholar who knew of Jesus before He said “Before Abraham was, I am”? Before He was born?

.

…and you can’t see a Muslim saying the exact same thing??

.
No. They say it is in the Qur’an. Jesus on the other hand said he was before Abraham and Abraham longed to see his day. The moment Jesus uttered words he spoke with authority. Those who believed The Church spread his Word and teachings. They didn’t wait for a book
. Why are you persecuting me? Remember?

They say Muhammad was the scholar, Martin. They say the Quran is the compilation of His scholarship, bestowed upon Him by Allah.
Muhammad didn’t speak with authority?
Imam Ali didn’t spread the Word of Muhammad before the Quran was compiled?

Where is all this imagined differentiation coming from, Martin?

When I say Jesus is the Scholar then you’ll say Mohamed is the scholar. Jumping on the bandwagon? Kindly come up with your own.

The Bible is a love story not a compilation. There ends any similarity with the Qur’an.

(But I’m sure you’ll come up with some bandwagon idea.)

Jesus equaled himself to God because he is, thus spoke with authority. You have heard it said hate you’re enemies but I say this to you Love your enemies…

Why should I care for Mohammed or Ali since Jesus opened my eyes? No thanks. But I pray for their souls. That is the Christian thing to do.

Well now you’re confusing everyone.

Is it a literal or a metaphorical spring of water?

Come on Jimmy, why the anger? I sense anger towards me 😦
.
No anger from me at all Servant. I was only trying to help you understand a parable of Jesus. You add confusion to an already simply understanding that you think would give benefit to baha’u’llah

Not at all dear Jimmy.

Please assist our dear moderator by bringing this subject up in the more appropriate thread 🙂

.
The trouble is (and you know that) that you rushed in to make a point and got strangely defensive. What you should have done if you say the subject belongs somewhere else is bring it up in the other thread. Instead It was basically blasting in without courtesy. Plus I’m stressing John 4’s sequence because the Samaritans had a say in this. As I said there is more going on than just focusing on one part.

MJ

Islamic historians are in favour of this?
They should. As with all Abrahamic religions, some scholars don’t even know their own religion correctly because the Books are sealed until the End Times.
"When Prophet Muhammad was asked: “When did you become a Prophet?” he replied; “I was a Prophet when Adam was between the water and the mud -before he came into existence.” (Al-Arabi - Futuhat)

Happy to bring up in the other thread for you Martin. I’m not being defensive in the least.
I made a mistake in deviating further what was already a deviated thread. I simply panicked at the realisation of this, no discourteousness intended.

Then bring it up, because you have focused on one part. Take that responsibility.

Edit: Ok Ive replied (I just noticed at Comparative regions thread you’ve included it.

What religions do not know their own faith correctly? Can you elaborate please

"When Prophet Muhammad was asked: “When did you become a Prophet?” he replied; “I was a Prophet when Adam was between the water and the mud -before he came into existence.” (Al-Arabi - Futuhat) "

So could it be that muhammad was Adam in Exodus…and Adam was really muhammad in 570 AD?

“Thus, according to the Shiites and to many Sufis as well, Muhammad existed before Adam was created. A famous hadith cited in the Shabak’s sacred book, the Buyruk”

Is this also a sunni belief?

quran 41:6
Say, O [Muhammad], I am only a man like you to whom it has been revealed that your god is but one God; so take a straight course to Him and seek His forgiveness." And woe to those who associate others with Allah -

HADITH NUMBER 9:
ADAM [alayhi salaam] SEEKS INTERCESSION WITH THE PROPHET’S [salallahu alayhi wa sallam] NAME

I asked: “O Messenger of Allah, when were you [first] a Prophet?” He replied: “When Allah created the earth ‘Then turned He to the heaven, and fashioned it as seven heavens’(2:29), and created the Throne, He wrote on the leg of the Throne: “Muhammad the Messenger of Allah is the Seal of Prophets” (Muhammadun Rasûlullâhi Khâtamu al-Anbiyâ’). Then Allah created the Garden in which He made Adam and Hawwa’ dwell, and He wrote my name on the gates, its tree-leaves, its domes and tents, at a time when Adam was still between the spirit and the body. When Allah Most High instilled life into him he looked at the Throne and saw my name, whereupon Allah informed him that ‘He [Muhammad SAWS] is the liege-lord of all your descendants.’ When Satan deceived them both, they repented and sought intercession to Allah with my name.”

Yes. First light and soul of Muhammad were created among prophets and first it was written " la ilaha illallah muhammadur rasulullah".
