So why would Servant say this to me Tony? …Any idea?
The same Instructions apply to accepting Muhammad the Bab and Baha’u’llah.

Thus if we hesitate to Follow them as we do Jesus the Christ, then we are the Dead Burying the Dead we have failed to see the promised return of Christ in all Three.

I know you do not believe this, but it is the answer you requested. 😉

God guides our journey JimmyDFG, as long as we submit fully to God with all our heart and make the effort to rid ourselves of self, God will give us what we need always. No one said the path to Love God was easy, Consider if you say you believe do you think you will not also be granted the bounty and chance to be a Martyr.

Martyrdom in this time is now dying to self and this is no easy martyrdom.

What about the Divisions of the world in islam
Dar al-Islam and Dar al-Harab
All humanity are created by the same one creator so all are part of one human family. It doesn’t matter what religion we have we can all come together as common humanity.

All the religions can unite under belief in one God but keep their respective beliefs.

We have been given world communications and technology to bring us together as one human family.

This is what your wonderful pope is doing now. He is going everywhere to every church and saying ‘you are a son of God and so am I so let’s be at peace’.

He is inviting the world to live together in harmony as a family and to set aside our differences and forgive what is past and move on to becoming a family.

This is wonderful.

Yet, he will champion Our Lord and Saviour. Who is the Truth, the Way and the Life. Charity to others doesn’t mean to accept what they believe but to treat the human family with dignity. That is the Jesus way.

If you asked him does he believe in:

The Christian economy, therefore, since it is the new and definitive Covenant, will never pass away; and no new public revelation is to be expected before the glorious manifestation of our Lord Jesus Christ."Yet even if Revelation is already complete, it has not been made completely explicit; it remains for Christian faith gradually to grasp its full significance over the course of the centuries.

Throughout the ages, there have been so-called “private” revelations, some of which have been recognized by the authority of the Church. They do not belong, however, to the deposit of faith. It is not their role to improve or complete Christ’s definitive Revelation, but to help live more fully by it in a certain period of history. Guided by the Magisterium of the Church, the sensus fidelium knows how to discern and welcome in these revelations whatever constitutes an authentic call of Christ or his saints to the Church.

Christian faith cannot accept “revelations” that claim to surpass or correct the Revelation of which Christ is the fulfillment, as is the case in certain non-Christian religions and also in certain recent sects which base themselves on such “revelations”.

He will give a resounding Yes. But he will also state, Every human being is created in the image of God and** redeemed by Jesus Christ**, and therefore** is invaluable and worthy of respect as a member of the human family**"

But above all these things have charity, which is the bond of perfection. Col 3:14

This is one GREAT Pope 👍

Chosen through prayers to the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of Christ. 🙂

MJ
God answers all prayer to Him Martin 😉

What I have found in life, is the answers are almost always, not how you would want it to be 😊

How this Pope will be an answer to all these prayers is still unfolding and God Bless Him always.

Yes. I hope the Muslims will finally see Christ as the Redeemer through the Charity of Pope Francis.

May it all unfold as God so Wills

Regards Tony
Unfortunately they reject that Jesus did the will of his Father by giving his life. God’s Will was done but they still don’t believe it.

MJ

They already do…😉

.
They reject Jesus death. Pope Francis first point of Charity is Jesus himself who suffered death and was buried and rose on the third day. Motivated by Jesus’ unconditional love.

This year the year of Mercy. The motivation is Jesus for what he did. Forgive us our trespasses as we Forgive those who trespass against us. The prayer still applies today.

Forgive them Father for they know not what they do ".

Muslims says Jesus is merely man, not deity. Muslims say the human Jesus did not die, but appear to be only, fainted, swoon or replaced by another body. Christians say he did and rose on the 3rd day. Christians say Jesus is God. Christians believes Christ death and resurrection brings redemption to the whole world. Muslims don’t believe in any of this.

So who is right? You can’t make everyone right in this case. Since the Christian God doesn’t lie, one of these books must be wrong. Or the Christian God is different from the Muslim God and both can be right. (but I don’t think so since the Quran references the Bible but the Bible doesn’t reference the Quran)

What do Bahais say who Jesus is? Is he God or not? If we can not agree on this simple question, then obviously your efforts to group the prophets together as if they are all in sync is a futile exercise.
Church is wrong but Qur’an and Bible are right!

The Church is living and breathing. Books have to be interpreted, they can’t speak. The Church speaks, so the Church gave the Bible. Refer to the Bible about Jesus. Jesus died even for those who don’t believe him. His Mercy is what matters. Forgiveness and Charity for every human being. Jesus the only way to the Father. Amen!

  1. Bottom line you are saying Jesus is not God. Correct?
  2. All Christians, ALL the apostles, Paul, worship Jesus as God. Since the NT is written by the apostles or people closely connected to the apostles, they are the people to go to to determine whether Jesus is God. If Jesus is not God, then the Apostles would have committed idolatry because they worshiped Jesus and Jesus accepted their worship.
Mat 14:33 All those in the boat worshiped him, saying “Truly you are the Son of God”
Mat 28:9 “… took hold of his feet and worshiped him”
Luk 24:52
That “worship Him” may have different meaning otherwise Bible would conflict with itself.

10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. matthew 4.

“worship him” may mean to praise and verify him or for devotion or regard etc.

Young’s Literal Translation
and those in the boat having come, did bow to him, saying, ‘Truly – God’s Son art thou.’

Weymouth New Testament
and the men on board fell down before him and said, “You are indeed God’s Son.”

Darby Bible Translation
But those in the ship came and did homage to him, saying, Truly thou art God’s Son.

Douay-Rheims Bible
And they that were in the boat came and adored him, saying: Indeed thou art the Son of God.

GOD’S WORD® Translation
The men in the boat bowed down in front of Jesus and said, “You are truly the Son of God.”

Douay-Rheims Bible
And behold Jesus met them, saying: All hail. But they came up and took hold of his feet, and adored him.

Darby Bible Translation
And as they went to bring his disciples word, behold also, Jesus met them, saying, Hail! And they coming up took him by the feet, and did him homage.

Weymouth New Testament
And then suddenly they saw Jesus coming to meet them. “Peace be to you,” He said. And they came and clasped His feet, bowing to the ground before Him.

Young’s Literal Translation
and as they were going to tell to his disciples, then lo, Jesus met them, saying, ‘Hail!’ and they having come near, laid hold of his feet, and did bow to him.

Darby Bible Translation
And they, having done him homage, returned to Jerusalem with great joy,

Young’s Literal Translation
and they, having bowed before him, did turn back to Jerusalem with great joy,

As I said in an another thread to someone, in the case of differing Bible translations, your best it is always the Greek.

Making a closed declaration does not make it so Martin.

The Oneness of God has now permeated the hearts of Mankind.

The passage to consider The First will be last and the Last First. Strange how God grants Faith to those that are seen as the waywrd first. History has proved this so.

What closed declaration ? Explain clearly.

The passage to consider? Those are real words by Jesus which you would never have read without the Church. So perhaps you will consider and give due respect for the Church sharing it.
