Thanks Ontheway. I’m aware of this however my focus was on Baha’u’llah He had 3 wives. He forgot Jesus and followed customs of his own land. Odd for who is the 2nd coming of Christ!

Why not allow Prophet Muhammad to finish what He is revealing to you?Quran 4:3 If you deem it best for the orphans, you may marry their mothers - you may marry two, three, or four.
Yes.So for fifteen centuries generations of Muslim men have been ignoring the Koran in this respect?
What is wrong with the interpretations of the Old Testament as given by the Rabbinic Apostolic succession?Servant I understand where your coming from. However as God is perfect I don’t think he would have allowed his Koran to be corrupted by Satan. I.e. No satanic verses. So I understand your view but I don’t believe he wrote it.
But, in a previous post you said this: “The true Muslim only needs the Quran and the hadiths that conform 100% with it, and nothing else.”Yes.
There is a reason why Islam is where it is today.
Corruption and incorrect interpretation has destroyed all that is holy in the religion of Muhammad.

Lets look at what you originally wrote:Why not allow Prophet Muhammad to finish what He is revealing to you?
“…and if ye fear that ye cannot do justice (to so many) then one (only) or (the captives) that your right hands possess.”
Let’s also look at what “cannot do justice” means? Can we be just to multiple wives?
Quran (4:129) - “Ye are never able to be fair and just as between women, even if it is your ardent desire”
So if we cannot be fair and just then only one wife is permitted.
That is the Law of the Quran.
.
You say there is NO law in islam where one should marry more than one wifeThere is no law in Islam that one should/must marry more than one wife. It’s quite the opposite in fact.
You said no law, i showed you the law, so which is it?Quran 4:3 If you deem it best for the orphans, you may marry their mothers - you may marry two, three, or four.
Yes, the hadiths, many of which contradict the Quran are taken with too much importance by many Muslims today. But, in a previous post you said this: “The true Muslim only needs the Quran and the hadiths that conform 100% with it, and nothing else.”
Are the hadiths the source of what you call corruption and incorrect interpretation? Or, has the Islamic world, in your view, ignored those as well?
If they ignore the Koran and the hadiths, then what do they follow?
When God says you MAY do something, that is not a law.Lets look at what you originally wrote:
You say there is NO law in islam where one should marry more than one wife
I said:
You said no law, i showed you the law, so which is it?
That verse you quoted is just saying its impossible for man to treat all wives fairly.
The law of the quran is a man can have more than one wife, up to four.
But weren’t they following the example set by Mohamed himself, who had nine or twelve wives? This has been recorded in the hadiths and all the generations of Muslims have been following what the hadiths say.Yes.
There is a reason why Islam is where it is today.
Corruption and incorrect interpretation has destroyed all that is holy in the religion of Muhammad.

I’m seeing it through the eyes of Christianity. Islam and bahaism adds its on spin to the life & death and Resurrection of Jesus which leads people astray. You wouldn’t understand unless you were a Christian …and I’m sure I’m not the only Catholic here who thinks so.Yes, but that’s not the perspective of creation that the Quran is presenting. Why do you insist on just seeing this from your perspective only?
.
You still said NO law? I showed you the law? Can you not see the issue here? When God says you MAY do something, that is not a law.
Please study how laws are written in Quranic Scripture
.
I will also add to this, bahai ask us to view it through their eyes, but do you see it through a Christians eyes? And not by what bahai’s ‘think’ christian eyes are?I’m seeing it through the eyes of Christianity. Islam and bahaism adds its on spin to the life & death and Resurrection of Jesus which leads people astray. You wouldn’t understand unless you were a Christian …and I’m sure I’m not the only Catholic here who thinks so.
Islam and bahaism has no historical evidence to back up its claims
Of course you would say that.I’m seeing it through the eyes of Christianity. Islam and bahaism adds its on spin to the life & death and Resurrection of Jesus which leads people astray. You wouldn’t understand unless you were a Christian …and I’m sure I’m not the only Catholic here who thinks so.

Laws in the Quran commence with the words “It has been enjoined…” not “you may…”You still said NO law? I showed you the law? Can you not see the issue here?
You cant make up what you think the quran says.![]()
Of course not.I will also add to this, bahai ask us to view it through their eyes, but do you see it through a Christians eyes? And not by what bahai’s ‘think’ christian eyes are?
Seeing it with the help of the Gospels and with Catholic Church. Seeing it with islamic or bahai eyes would be against Christianity and what the Holy Gospels affirmed happenedI will also add to this, bahai ask us to view it through their eyes, but do you see it through a Christians eyes? And not by what bahai’s ‘think’ christian eyes are?
Bahai stuck on history repeating itselfThe same was said by the Jews about Christianity.
.
All of the Prophets wives were for the purposes of protection during war and conflict. But weren’t they following the example set by Mohamed himself, who had nine or twelve wives? This has been recorded in the hadiths and all the generations of Muslims have been following what the hadiths say.
Why do you therefore not look at the Torah with Jewish eyes??Seeing it with the help of the Gospels and with Catholic Church. Seeing it with islamic or bahai eyes would be against Christianity and what the Holy Gospels affirmed happened
