I’m getting confirmed and receiving my first Communion this Easter!!! I had my first confession last Satuday and I’ve been on a high since then! I am so excited that I can’t hardly wait!

😃

i had my first confession about 2 weeks ago and it is such an amazing feeling…very liberating!!😃

I too will be fully accepted into the Catholic Church this Easter Vigil. I have been looking forward to it with much anticipation. 🙂

ME!! I am not being baptized, but I am going to receive my first Holy Communion at the Easter Vigil!!

It seems like there is a difference of routins between different countries, here in sweden the candidates who are already baptized will be initiated in the church at Holy Thursday.

Then the catechumens will be baptized at easter vigil.

And confirmation is delayed for both groups until june 6, with the bishop.

Congratulations to you all!

I was confirmed this Feb 7th (i.e. 37 days ago). In our parish only the Catechumens are received at the Easter Vigil.

I’m in, having been baptised Anglican though, I will be receiving my first confession, communion and my confirmation at or around easter vigil (I will be receiving my first Sacrament of Reconciliation within hours of Easter Vigil).

Glory to God for helping us find his Church!

I will be as well. It only took me 17 years to get to this point. I was not religously raised. My wife, however, was/is. We met 17 years ago (married for 15 in Nov 2010) and I have been attending church with her since then.

I had always been on the fence about this, but it was my son who finally made realize that I needed to be part of this community.

Only 18 more days.

My wife and I will both be confirmed on Easter Vigil, as we went through RCIA together. Most rewarding for both of us, as we have grown closer together within the light of God.

I’m looking forward to the three events for the first time: baptism, confirmation, and Holy Communion. An old bag of bones will get a new life on 2010’s Easter Vigil.

I can’t remember if I’ve posted here, but I am being confirmed this Easter. 🙂

Only 17 days left…I can’t believe it is almost time, this has been the most amazing journey and I know that the journey doesn’t end at the Easter Vigil, but I am going to miss my fellow RCIA participants once we stop meeting in May.

Yes thats true, it will happen to me too but if i wanna see them i guess i can always go back to the parish where the RCIA was held, as i will be baptized in another parish, i just attended for the RCIA but all my rites i did apart from the group, except the admission.

Also the confirmation will be the whole group as it is delayed until june 6 and will be in the RCIA parish.

Me- baptised already so will be confirmed and make First Holy Communion at the Easter Vigil.

Had first Reconciliation about two weeks ago.

So excited! Just choosing a Confirmation name now.

I am looking forward to entering the Church this Easter.
I’ve already been baptized (in a Protestant church), so this will be confirmation and first communion.

I’m already baptized, but I will be entering the Church at Easter Vigil, along with my 8-year-old daughter. We’ve both already had First Reconciliation, and it was such a relief 😃
Nowhere near the ordeal I’d imagined it would be.

To Gannyssa:
Congratulations to both you and your daughter on entering the Church. And I can certainly relate to what you said about First Reconciliation. Ditto for me!

Hi everyone

I will be joining the Catholic Church at Easter Vigil in London on April 3rd this year.

What a journey I have had getting to this point. In brief, I am a soon-to-be ex-deacon, pentecostal christian. Many people are shocked at my decision, my parents are dismayed, most of my family are bewildered but I know God has led me to His Holy Catholic Church. I can now say TO GOD BE THE GLORY GREAT THINGS HE HAS DONE. Despite the friction, God has given me His peace which passeth all understanding, it rules and reigns in my heart in Christ Jesus (I guess you can’t take the pentecostal out of the girl, huh? 😃 )

Anyway, the Parish I attend is a busy, friendly environment and I love it.

PLEASE pray for me, my parents, family and friends and I WILL pray for all you new Entrants/Returnees to the Catholic faith.

We’re almost there!!

Blessings Always People of God.
