I agree 100% and I am thankful I still have VCR player and lots of old movie videos. God Bless, Memaw
 
Ringo Starr is 75 today. Not really that elderly or a movie star, but the Beatles did make a few memorable films.
Oh, and he was in that caveman movie too.

I feel the same way & I put about 300 classic movies from TCM on disc. I may watch the new Jurassic World movie when it goes on DVD. I like the way the dinosaurs look so realistic & the excitement of the movie.

And the dinosaurs are some of the best actors we have nowadays.

She was the 1959 Miss America. The original concept was a young women with an older agent who technically should have retired at the age of forty(mandatory age for agent retirement.) She was paired with Norman Fell. He was replaced with Noel Harrison and the idea of a over retirement agent was dropped. Why they did this:shrug:

Gene Wilder is still with us as well at 81.

Sid Haig is 75.

James Hong is 86.

Omar Sharif passed away today at the age of 83.

I think Holbrook still tours his one man show as Mark Twain. Or had least he did until a few years ago.

Omar Sharif actually passed away yesterday.

Woody Allen was investigated for these allegations. The police determined that Mia coached her children to make the claims and cleared him.

Woody’s current wife is Mia’s daughter through adoption. She was about 18 or so when he started an “affair” with her.

Interesting, according to this web site he was not cleared
But in a controversial move, state’s attorney Frank S. Maco announced in 1993 that while he found “probable cause” to prosecute Allen, he was dropping the case because Dylan was too “fragile” to deal with a trial. Mia agreed with the decision, he said

As part of the case, a team of investigators at Yale-New Haven Hospital had studied Dylan’s accusations and concluded that no sexual abuse had taken place and described Dylan as having "difficulty distinguishing fantasy from reality.

It seems that it was not the police but investigators at a hospital. No mention is made of anyone couching. She was granted full custody of the children and Woody Allen was barred from seeing the girl.

It is truly a sad situation.
 
David Canary is 76.
He was mostly on TV, on shows like Bonanza and the soap opera All My Children, but he was in movies too, like Hombre with Paul Newman. I actually thought he was older.
 
Eric Braeden is 74.

He’s played Victor Neuman on Young and the Restless for at least 35 years. He’s done a number of films too such as “Titanic”.

And he has a very long marriage, since 1966.
