Remember this if you vote in 2016. If 2012 is a make or break year (I personally think 2008 was a bigger turning point), then boy did the GOP pick the wrong horse to ride!Won’t you be surprised then.![]()

As Catholics, we don’t vote just for the sake of voting. Sometimes we must vote for none of the above. Sometimes civil disobedience is our only option. Sometimes Prayer is the only remedy. Not voting for Romney is not voting for Romney. Voting for a fake conservative is much worse than not voting at all. Those that vote FOR Obama will have to answer for it, not those that don’t vote for Romney. Again, you seem to adhere to the notion of “the lesser of two evils” as if it is some teaching of the Catholic Church. The “lesser of two evils” logic is why we are in this mess. It is why things will only get worse. It’s akin to a frog boiling slowly in water. For those who are NOT going to vote, please think and re-think. If you don’t want our nation to be completely destroyed and has no return, then you must vote, and vote for Romney. Evil prevails because of the majority silence. So is this election. Not voting for Romney is voting for Obama.
Romneycare is very different from Obamacare. It was around 70 pages instead of 2700 pages. Romneycare does not contain any those immoral laws and numerous irrelevant regulations as Obamacare. Romney is good at creating jobs and turn around the economy. He will not persecute the Catholic church.
This election is not about what you like or dislike. It is not about “you” at all. It is about the future of our nation.
Do you like grilled steak? If we can’t get that one out of the way, there isn’t much more to go on…Whoa, whoa, whoa. “Hate” is a strong word. Just because I think he’s a nutter on some issues, doesn’t mean I hate the man. And, I’m hardly a Country Club Republican. I am a Catholic conservative who affiliates with the Republican Party because it is the closest of the two major parties to my views. I like to be part of a party that actually matters, so I can vote in the primary and have some influence.
You and I agree on much more than we disagree.
Who doesn’t? I’ve just had to vary my side dishes to try to become more “primal.” My success rate is mixed.Do you like grilled steak? If we can’t get that one out of the way, there isn’t much more to go on…![]()

Civil disobedience is to disobey immoral law. Not voting has nothing to do with civil disobedience. As Catholics, we don’t vote just for the sake of voting. Sometimes we must vote for none of the above. Sometimes civil disobedience is our only option.
I agree. In the 1980 election, the republicans asked the question “are you better off then you were four years ago?” In answering this question this year, it is more then economics… its our religious freedoms. Are you better off?Life (from natural birth to natural death).
Marriage (one man/one woman).
Family (protect tradtional).
Religious Freedom.
The only person who wants to protect all of those is Romney.
Further, the poor cannot be helped without a robust economy and I believe Romney will make the economy stronger, which means increased opportunities will exist to help the poor.
Not only that, is our COUNTRY better off? We all care about America, not just our own interests and those of the future generations. Obama is taking us on a road to ruin. His ideology is paralyzing to him. He will not get off the Leftist train even though he should be able to see everything he’s done has made things worse.I agree. Pride cometh before the fall…Obama is taking us on a road to ruin. His ideology is paralyzing to him. He will not get off the Leftist train even though he should be able to see everything he’s done has made things worse.

You seem to take politicians on their word. I vote strictly based on their record. If that means that I don’t vote for either option, so be it. The political process has its limitations. When those limitations are met, then all we have left is Prayer.Civil disobedience is to disobey immoral law. Not voting has nothing to do with civil disobedience.
I don’t have the mentality of voting for less evil. I believe Romney will bring our economy around. There are too many people suffer in this Obama economy. **The theater shooting is caused by the man’s great frustration of his job situation. ** We must have a leader like Romney to rebuild this country’s economy.
If you don’t vote for Romney, your are helping Obama. Your protest of not having an ideal candidate won’t get anywhere but make this country suffer more. Are you saying you’d rather help Obama?
You too…when you don’t.Remember this if you vote in 2016.
Christ would care about one issue in this election…his precious unborn children in the womb who are being murdered evreyday. The only way I can vote Obama out of office is to vote for his opponent.
That is because it has not brought him to ruin. He still sees that he must play to his power base.Obama is taking us on a road to ruin. His ideology is paralyzing to him. He will not get off the Leftist train even though he should be able to see everything he’s done has made things worse.

Jesus did not say this, nor is this what the Catholic Church teaches.Christ would care about one issue in this election…
I guess I’m part of that small percentage, as are many of my Catholic, church going friends. I voted for him last time and am considering voting for him this time again. It think your guess is a little off, based on my anecdotal experience.I would say 90%+ or maybe even 95%+ of people who go to weekly mass will not vote for obama. But those who don’t go to mass weekly will vote for obama. .
what is your reasoning for voting for obama?I guess I’m part of that small percentage, as are many of my Catholic, church going friends. I voted for him last time and am considering voting for him this time again. It think your guess is a little off, based on my anecdotal experience.
