Hi Ishii, it was while I was here earlier tonight when the President was reelected and I had to go watch the celebration coverage. But I just saw this and wanted to give you credit for admitting the spin is over. Romney and the Senate candidates have lost. Romney reportedly is coming out in 5 mins to concede. I want to watch that. Have a good night my friend. And God bless America. Peace.
No thanks, Cmatt. I don’t want or need your credit. I am disappointed that christians voted for an infanticide supporter. Hard to ask God to bless an America that aborts millions every year and then re-elects the most ardent support of abortion rights. Too bad for the unborn - they don’t deserve this.

You might as well say God Bless America on behalf of Obama, since Obama never does, and in fact when he quoted the Declaration of Independence seven times, he left out “Creator” - this is part of the socialist’s efforts to remove all references to God from the public arena, just as it was in the communist countries. Maybe he will say something about God tonight, let’s see.

God bless you.

Money talks. When they feel the pain of paying 50% more each month on their electric bill, and 50% more for winter heating oil, some might regret. Romney would have allowed us to tap into our oil, build more pipelines, and keep our coal natural resources in play, which would have actually lowered our costs for oil, electricity and gasoline.

And I did not mention how it will allow Iran to get a bomb, or get close to it, more than likely, which will likely lead to military confrontation between Iran and Israel.

God bless you.
Right, eventually we may have a taxpayer revolt when individual taxpayers are supporting a bunch of other people. Christian charity, yes but within reason.

Here comes Romney for the concession speech,

My one time Governor but, thankfully not my President.

He’s been campaigning for this office more or less for the past ten years. He sounds very upbeat, but I bet he is glad for it to be finally over.

Thanks, I was googling earlier trying to find results on the SSM vote. Considering that not voting at all on it was considered a vote for it, according to Father Z, who hails from Minnesota I’m surprised that it failed. Happy though.
It is absolutely against Catholic moral teaching to support same sex “marriage” or civil “unions.” The homosexualist agenda to redefine marriage is a great evil which must be defeated. That this issue is even on the ballot in these states speaks to the moral degradation of our country.

At least their civil unions and government marriages won’t be recognized by the church.

I want to say to all the disheartened pro lifers - this is the time to make a change. You can not just rely on a different president ever 4 or 8 years. Pro life leaders are dissapointed but will not surrender, they will continue fighting against evil. MS has 1 abortion clinic left and that clinic is on shaky territory, pro life gains can be made at the state level

Nice speech Gov. Romney…a call for unity and bipartisanship. He showed himself to be a class adult

Yeah, he is a good man, but this has to be a bit of a blow for him.

Instead, you have a president complicit in baby murder and using your tax money to do it. That sounds really great.

IN two years, big Republican gains AGAIN as this administration and their cronies will bring more failure to the Republic.

Churches in those states had better stop renting out their halls to any organization that isn’t part of the parish or diocese right away.

President takes Virginia…Florida is still too close. The President had better offer Bill Clinton a cabinet position…Secretary of State?

I wonder if Paul Ryan regrets compromising his pro-life position with his participation in the Romney campaign?

I can’t believe he took VA.

I totally thought VA was going to go GOP.

I just think I have been spending too much time on CAF and it shaped my perceptions.

I don’t care at this point. I have one great job and a spare job that I half care about and very little debt to boot. I will only donate to authentic Catholic Charity organizations in the future. I just might get out of politics all together and take care of my own.

He joined forces with what most thought offered the best chance to beat Obama. He has no need to regret - he certainly fought the good fight, kept the faith and ran the race to the finish. I don’t think he will be on a presidential ticket again - but he was a welcome addition to it. In the end, the best explanation for Obama’s victory is this quote by Alexis de Tocqueville:

A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations has been 200 years.”

Its really simple: those who rob Peter to pay Paul will get the vote of Paul.
