CNN just said polls in VA may be open till midnight so all voters can vote. I’m sorry but voting should be easier for people… Hours of waiting shouldn’t be happening in our time of technology. 😦

Wow! By the way, the Virginia elections results page from Richmond has 47% of precincts reporting, where google maps has only 31%.

Doesn’t VA have early voting?
 
CBS now putting Ohio “leaning” Obama. If this gets called, Romney’s odds drop precipitously. Then he need WI and Iowa or maybe a surprise?
 
In Virginia, with 57% of precincts reporting, Romney still has a six point lead. Fingers crossed…

I voted at 5pm. I got to my polling place at 4pm and the lines of people were just REALLY long. We had 5 electronic voting machines and in VA you can also vote on paper and have it scanned and counted immediately.

Turnout for most elections is so much lower that it doesn’t make sense to have more electronic machines that won’t be needed even in other presidential years.
 
Michigan called for Obama. (this was an outlier that the GOP was trying for)

CNN projects Kansas, Louisiana, Nebraska, N.Dakota, S.Dakota, Texas, Wyoming, Mississippi for Romney. No surprises.

The lines were long where I live as well. I felt bad for those who had to wait in those lines. I got to go to the front of the line because I have an injury… I would have just went home if I had to wait in those lines. I couldn’t stand in line, I’d be in too much pain.

WTOP is saying that some people may not vote until 2AM or 3AM in PW! Are they smoking dope in the glass-enclosed nerve center?
