A nation where one half pays for the other half can only last so long.

The thing is is that the rest of the nation has to pay for the Obama supporters!

Good luck if you think this will be long term success.

Voting rights are fine but sometimes, perhaps those who pay the taxes should be the only voters but that is not fair but the other way around is not fair either.

Watch the debt that will be rung up.
Oh good…let’s have a poll tax. I guess all those elderly on Social Security would just have to sit out the elections.

Actually, I’m not one to get overly excited. Governing is tough and the problems are many. I will take great joy in watching Sean Hannity this evening, however.

I might even listen to Rush, just in case his head explodes on air
I’m done with political shows, just as I’m done with the political process. I will never vote again. As a result of last night’s election, I am joining the millions of Americans who ignore elections, legislation, and judicial decisions, regardless of how it affects their individual or family lives. I will pay my taxes and abide by the law. If Catholic charities, universities, and hospitals are forced to close because of the HHS mandate, so be it. America has spoken. I will not listen anymore.

Phil Keating of Fox is saying that the President has most likely won Florida as well.

Oh good…lets kill all the babies we can. Maybe you can set a record.

Render onto Caesar or move to Somalia. 🤷

Now the question is, the rate of poverty grew under Obama’s first term. If it grows again in a big way, it will be clear this kind of system is not sustainable.

Watch how people will love ACA and the tax increases in it.

I think that everyone should pay something in federal income taxes so this is no longer a valid argument.

Yes, through earned income credit and other credits there are some people who actually pay NO taxes but get money from the government when they file their taxes. What to do about them - I don’t know. BUT, all these people that don’t pay taxes electing a guy who gives them more free stuff is just plain wrong.

I am incredibly frustrated that I pay for everything for other people and, at the same time, am not eligible for any breaks myself.

One thing is for sure, Obama won overwhelmingly from people who don’t pay taxes,

Obama doesn’t win unless he wins cities like Detroit, Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver, MIami.

These are other demographics to remember as well.
A lot of the people who are on welfare and pay no taxes are the elderly and they seemed to support Romney.

I suppose so, if it were true. But what free things has President Obama provided to persons who don’t pay federal income taxes?

That’s a good thing - America has nothing to tell us.

But please don’t withdraw! We have plenty to tell America: We can sing about life, we can pray for justice, and we can preach the Gospel.

Go ahead, gloat, but remember pride goeth before the fall.
On the other hand, there were plenty of posters who said that Romney was going to win big, I imagine they must feel humbled right now.

I actually think that would be a good idea, since most of the recipients are able bodied and can work, they would just rather collect the dole. So why should these lazy people get the right to vote?

America’s indebtedness is transforming it into Somalia. Broke and increasingly irrelevant. But I guess fair share, fair shot, etc. will take care of that, right?

And the problem will only get worse. Texas is on its way to becoming a swing state…so is Arizona.

Regarding Sandy…the President was leading in the polls before the storm and, guess what, the polls were right.

John
Nope–Romney had the lead and the momentum before Sandy. Then, for five days Romney was literally yanked from the national stage and Obama was put front and center. Obama won by 1.5% of the popular vote, and 42% of people in exit polls admitted that Sandy impacted their vote.

Well, free health insurance for one. Free phones. Free broadband. Free birth control.

This would be talking about the way the people on Federal Assistance has grown. And this is so. This is why the “food coupon” president term came up.
