There is nothing wonderful about eternal marriage and pregnancy. I love being married, I loved being pregnant and having my children, however that is not what I want to do for all eternity.Nothing in these wonderful passages describes how procreation occurs in the next life; only that it does occur.
I look forward to my time in heaven with Jesus and the saints, my family and friends…and not serving others as a wife and mother.
Where did I ask about “how” procreation happens in the next life? That’s irrelevant IMO. It’s the “why” that matters.
Why does a woman need this for eternal life when Jesus says there is no marriage in heaven? Jesus knows how difficult life is and would not sentence us to an eternity of hardship.
I have heard “families are forever “ ad nauseum for thirty years. However, this eternal pregnancy doctrine is a teaching I’ve never heard before. (I can see it now… “Pregnancy is forever” wall decals on Pinterest. Probably wouldn’t be a big seller).
