Elmo: Refugee kids are just like us

Russia is not a human rights haven by any stretch of the imagination and to even compare their violations to the U.S., just confirms in my mind how truly biased you really are.

And as I’ve said before I would much rather have the U.S. as a neighbour than Russia for obvious reasons.

I think we both have Russia as a neighbor, just down the street a ways, if you count their frozen Gulag region.
 
The idea that you solve the world’s problems by importing the world to western countries is both ludicrous and an attack on those western countries.

This is nothing less than Left wing Progressive politics who have historically tried to wreck the west for their discredited ideologies.

These people use a false emotional shaming as part of their politically correct religion which needs to be booted out of society. Not only is it false compassion it is also an attack on intelligence.

In Australia we have courts falsely accepting it is too dangerous for certain people to travel back to their middle eastern countries and yet they travel back on their own accord for holidays and family celebrations.

We have had a huge crime spree with Africans who apparently through dishonest courts and false emotion we are supposed to believe cannot go back to their own country and yet the governments here in order to deal with the problem actually arrange holidays back to their own country for them that we all pay for.

It is a fraud and makes no sense culturally, economically, emotionally, morally and intellectually.

It is a disgrace of discredited and divisive Left wing politics wanting to control society through other people’s money against their wishes which would have us believe what is not true and does not help through a false morality.

People on the Left should stop inflicting their discredited ideology on their fellow citizens. You are causing division and a worsening of society.

It’s quite extensive and takes at least two years. ( Unless you are buying a visa from the Kushner family)

Refugees aren’t in distress?

No, Italy wouldn’t be my first choice to take in refugees, but I suppose they decided someone had to do it. They probably wouldn’t mind more help on that than they’re getting.

Not all migrants coming to Europe are in distress, as in in danger of or living under the threat of danger as refugees are, i.e., many of the migrants coming to Italy’s shores are economic migrants.

I’m sorry but if things continue as they do, the whole of Europe will collapse from the economic burden. You cannot expect a limitless supply of migrants from Africa (mostly) to land in Europe. This is not a feasible nor a good approach in the long term.

Wow, that’s your argument for all the illegal aliens (some with criminal convictions and prior deportations) entering your country.

Because there is a way to invite such people into your country legally, you know.
 
I didn’t get a chance to watch the video, but the article is about an “interview” with Elmo who had gone to visit refugee children in Jordan. I’m guessing this will be included in an episode of Sesame Street in the near future.

There already is a way. It could use some tweaking but there are orchards and vineyards near where I live that already do bring in legal migrant workers from Mexico and Central America.

These workers are well paid, they are not exploited and the law remains observed. All sides win.

We should be pushing for better laws instead of more illegal immigrants.
