Within 300 hundred years after Jesus’s crucifixion, Christianity was quite established. What took 300 years then should not even take 30 years today. If you can’t do it in 170 years today, it will never happen.Out of the thousands and thousands of people that Jesus encountered 2000 years ago, how many accepted Him?
Jesus talked to and met and “boasted” about Himself being God, FACE TO FACE, with so many people within His ministry, and yet, openmind, how many accepted Him?
.
Given the time He came to earth, Jesus’ claims were INCREDIBLY grandiose, to the point that stones were thrown.Within 300 hundred years after Jesus’s crucifixion, Christianity was quite established. Jesus just said simply that he was the Son, never the grandiose terms that Bahaullah uses. The ‘I am’ statements of Jesus are very profound and simple, Bahaullah’s statements are condescending and verbose like desperate attempts to establish his superiority.
When the real Mahdi and Jesus Returns they will not need to make such statements, their ‘stations’ will be obvious to a major portion of the population in a few months.
I think it will be earlier than December 2017, so we don’t have much longer to wait.Given the time He came to earth, Jesus’ claims were INCREDIBLY grandiose, to the point that stones were thrown.
Given the time He came on earth, and the thousands who flocked around Him, Jesus only got a few handfuls of followers from those who encountered Him face to face…
Given the time He came on the earth, the Bab (Mahdi) also made INCREDIBLY grandiose claims too. How many followed Him when encountering Him face to face? Tens of thousands…
Anyway, I look forward to 2017 for you
We will be in touch on December 31st 2017

Reminds me of this passage;I think it will be earlier than December 2017, so we don’t have much longer to wait.
This is exactly what I mean by condescending and grandiose statements ‘O foolish ones, indeed!’ - it just shows the small mindedness of the propounder. Not ‘Son of God’ material at all.Reminds me of this passage;
“Great God! Notwithstanding their acceptance of the truth of this tradition, these divines who are still doubtful of, and dispute about, the theological obscurities of their faith, yet claim to be the exponents of the subtleties of the law of God, and the expounders of the essential mysteries of His holy Word. They confidently assert that such traditions as indicate the advent of the expected Qá’im have not yet been fulfilled, whilst they themselves have failed to inhale the fragrance of the meaning of these traditions, and are still oblivious of the fact that all the signs foretold have come to pass, that the way of God’s holy Cause hath been revealed, and the concourse of the faithful, swift as lightning, are, even now, passing upon that way, whilst these foolish divines wait expecting to witness the signs foretold. Say, O ye foolish ones! Wait ye even as those before you are waiting!”
I would consider those words

You can not throw it aside, it will keep coming back, these words addressed to people in power and not the every day believer, so it is good to consider the power of the Word;This is exactly what I mean by condescending and grandiose statements ‘O foolish ones, indeed!’ - it just shows the small mindedness of the propounder. Not ‘Son of God’ material at all.
But the problem as I said before, is really how non-muslims (or even some muslims) will handle the coming of the islamic Mahdi - it will be difficult for them to acknowledge that a muslim Messenger of God has come for all humanity. Hopefully the resistance to the Mahdi will not be violent. At least when he arrives, it will get Bahais to keep silent for once and contemplate the implications. Then the Return of Jesus after that will hopefully end Bahai claims for good.
More condescending stuff in the same vein. The more material like this that you put up, the more it reveals the megalomania of Bahaullah. It seems Bahaullah really believed himself to be some sort OT prophet trying to part the seas with his arms raised and screaming exhortations to the rabble around him.You can not throw it aside, it will keep coming back, these words addressed to people in power and not the every day believer, so it is good to consider the power of the Word;
“…Seek ye to put out God’s light that shineth upon His earth? Averse is God from what ye desire. He shall perfect His light, albeit ye abhor it in the secret of your hearts”.
“Dost thou believe thou hast the power to frustrate His Will, to hinder Him from executing His judgment, or to deter Him from exercising His sovereignty? Pretendest thou that aught in the heavens or in the earth can resist His Faith? No, by Him Who is the Eternal Truth! Nothing whatsoever in the whole of creation can thwart His Purpose. Cast away, therefore, the mere conceit thou dost follow, for mere conceit can never take the place of truth. Be thou of them that have truly repented and returned to God, the God Who hath created thee, Who hath nourished thee, and made thee a minister among them that profess thy faith”.

Again you have described what did happen, There is volumes of writings calling the peoples to the Word if fine style. Then the Ridicule, rejections, persecutions and the killings began by the divines then the peoples trying to exterminate the causes.More condescending stuff in the same vein. The more material like this that you put up, the more it reveals the megalomania of Bahaullah. It seems Bahaullah really believed himself to be some sort OT prophet trying to part the seas with his arms raised and screaming exhortations to the rabble around him.
Bahaullah should be more respectful of other people if wants to gain some respect for himself.
The Mahdi and then Jesus who will return soon will be nothing like this - no angry, fire and brimstone speeches. The Mahdi will speak profound words softly and concisely, nothing so verbose and grandiose. He will appeal to people’s good sense, not accuse them of lacking spirituality.
That was an event that took place within the Muslim religion in the year 666.What happen to the… “Mark of The Beast” ?![]()
Who is the “wronged One” ?Again you have described what did happen, There is volumes of writings calling the peoples to the Word if fine style. Then the Ridicule, rejections, persecutions and the killings began by the divines then the peoples trying to exterminate the causes.
Thus God gave the warnings. It is to God you are calling condescending and all other names you have attributed. As you started using these names I gave you the Warnings.
“…Every man of insight will, in this day, readily admit that the counsels which the Pen of this wronged One hath revealed constitute the supreme animating power for the advancement of the world and the exaltation of its peoples. Arise, O people, and, by the power of God’s might, resolve to gain the victory over your own selves, that haply the whole earth may be freed and sanctified from its servitude to the gods of its idle fancies—gods that have inflicted such loss upon, and are responsible for the misery of, their wretched worshipers. These idols form the obstacle that impedeth man in his efforts to advance in the path of perfection. We cherish the hope that the Hand of Divine power may lend its assistance to mankind, and deliver it from its state of grievous abasement.
In one of the Tablets these words have been revealed: O people of God! Do not busy yourselves in your own concerns; let your thoughts be fixed upon that which will rehabilitate the fortunes of mankind and sanctify the hearts and souls of men. This can best be achieved through pure and holy deeds, through a virtuous life and a goodly behavior. Valiant acts will ensure the triumph of this Cause, and a saintly character will reinforce its power. Cleave unto righteousness, O people of Bahá! This, verily, is the commandment which this wronged One hath given unto you, and the first choice of His unrestrained Will for every one of you”.

I had read that this was the time period that Islam was destroying the Christian world.That was an event that took place within the Muslim religion in the year 666.
letters written on behalf of the Universal House of Justice to individual believers pertaining specifically to the numbers 666 (13:8) “You have asked about the meaning of the “four beasts” referred to in Revelations, Ch. 4. ‘Abdu’l-Bahá in a Tablet has given an explanation for the reference to the “beast” mentioned in Revelations 13:18, saying that the numerical value given to the beast in that passage referred to the date of the year, i.e. 666 A.D., when the Umayyad ruler arose. This is obviously a reference to Mu’áwíyih, the Umayyad Caliph who opposed the Imamate. He speaks further on this subject in “Some Answered Questions”, Chapter XI.” (1 August 1978)

Baha’u’llah in this passage.Who is the “wronged One” ?
By Baha’i standards?Baha’u’llah in this passage.
But all the Messengers/Prophets of God can be called “Wronged One” as all were greviously wronged.
Regards Tony
Consider, if in this Life a person was to find that Muhammad was indeed a Messenger of God as foretold in the Bible, then it also may be able for that person to contemplate that by rejecting Muhammad the Christians had already destroyed the intent of their Belief and thus their true spiritual selves!I had read that this was the time period that Islam was destroying the Christian world.
Because no one believed that Baha’u’llah was the second coming of Jesus ?Baha’u’llah in this passage.
But all the Messengers/Prophets of God can be called “Wronged One” as all were greviously wronged.

This is quite incomprehensible.…by the divines then the peoples trying to exterminate the causes.
Stop calling Bahaullah God - just calling him that does not make him so or convince anybody of that claim.( BTW I have not called him any names, just said his tone is condescending)Thus God gave the warnings. It is to God you are calling condescending and all other names you have attributed. As you started using these names I gave you the Warnings.
