I will admit, it was FLAME ON with Parker and Diania.

Parker started off real good at first, then it got to the point where all he would do was dance around the issue, and nitpick definitions, sentences, intent, etc. and would never really answer the question.

Both of them gave as good as they got though. 😃

only in the beginning. But they gave worse than they got when it was clear we could not be fooled

Honestly, I think it is because of the internet.

There is so much more information available now, and much easier to obtain.

The leadership of the mormon church is having a much harder time enforcing the “don’t read anything that isn’t faith promoting material”, or the “Don’t trouble yourself about that” statements.

It’s all out there, warts and all, and I don’t think they’re prepared to handle it.

Some people just don’t seem to last long here on CAF. Not because we are so mean here that we discriminate, its just that some people do not seem capable of following the rules of the forum and many just want to recruit Catholics.
I actually am far more lenient than the other mods here. I will give people MILES of rope. I will even ignore certain statements because our apologists, Catholic and Protestant are perfectly capable of answering them.
And believe me, there things that happen behind the scenes that if I shared, many would realize how much freedom they have on NCR.
But now, now I’M derailing the thread.:rolleyes:

Eric - I really didn’t think it was you :)- I just figure that they have run out of things to say for now.

You have been very lenient and a terrific moderator.

I really appreciate that you allow me to post large amounts of information and to copy/paste as much as I do.
It is really important with Mormons because they will not read material that they consider anti and if they have to press a link button I don’t think they will.

That is why my posts are soooo long and soooo packed with information.

I bet it is *very *interesting behind the scenes at CAF!

Like I have asked before, I wonder how long it will be until they move away from JS as prophet and the BoM as scripture?

The older generation had the benefit of no internet access and the young people have unlimited access - I mean, the “anti” Mormon websites are abundant and packed with really good information.

I can just hear the conversations going on in wards and homes right now…I guess that is why there is the new group of Mormons called New Order Mormons.

Eric has been very fair. I was banned for a year. Remember? I had to apologize and mea culpa to come back. Those who have been banned were no better or worse than I was…well, maybe SOME were worse…lol…

I deserved it…so did they
