According to Stephen Cohen, Russian scholar, author of the book “The Victim Returns” refers to the reign of Joseph Stalin as "the other holocaust " During 24 years of history more innocent people died then in Hitler’s destruction of European Jews. His legacy has continued after his death in l953. Those that followed him had plenty of blood on their hands, members of his circle eg. Malenkov, Mikoyan, Kaganovich and Khrushcev to name some. Their are plenty of documents and surviving witnesses to testify to the role they played in the terror.
Some of the opinions of the Russian people say that Putin does not even come near to Stalin or has his power. Does Putin have the potential to destroy more of humanity than Stalin or Hitler, who I believe would have if they could have. Putin has the Atomic bomb, and some of his cronies do not hesitate to flaunt this fact before the U.S Would Putin do this, does humanity show this possibility, Judging from history, I would say “yes”.
It is also said by citizen, or citizens, that Putin has less control over people because you can always migrate from Russia. The USSR was considered a maximum security cell.
Lithuania’s president compares Putin to Hitler and Stalin, and the comparison is not going too far afield. The Lithuanian president stated, that it was a very objective description of what Putin is doing- he is using nationality as a pretext to conquer land with military means, this is what Hitler and Stalin did. I strongly believe that as long as Russia espouses atheistic communism, remaining ungodly, not loving it’s citizens, one and all, this scenario will continue. Russia, like many other countries need “Conversion” to Jesus Christ through the Bessed Mother, otherwise Satan will remain in control of his puppets. He truly is a “liar and a murderer” Russia was known to use truth as a tool, and to lie, stalling negotiations, and she certainly has a record of “murder” But God loves His creation, and I do believe He will intervene for His creation, so we pray with hope for the whole world in spite of it’s ignorance and weaknesses and corruptions.
