Eucharist becomes real flesh and blood, a miracle

Could you quote the relevant passage in the Catechism where it states we do not receive the accidents, please?
 
This Eucharistic miracle is one of the many miracles that secured my place in the Catholic Church. When I learned about it, I was absolutely astounded!

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

my life had never been the same.

Eucharist is Jesus. The Jesus whom we love. And we can receive him in our hearts, and he dwells in us and we become his tabernacle.

I love it when I feel God’s presence pervades over me.

I never feel alone anymore. Jesus is with me, all my brothers and sisters saints are with me. Mother Mary is with me.

"At the moment of Consecration I come down first in such deep humility that there is no one at Mass, no matter how despicable and vile he may be, towards whom I do not humbly incline and approach, if he desires Me to do so and prays for it;

I was allowed to feel the consecration and that was just awesome and almost took me down to my knees. That is nice soft loving way Jesus showed me his true presence. I want more please!!! I don’t want Jesus to waste that miracle on me as I know the Eucharist is real. No questions on that one. The second the priest confected the Eucharist I felt something so intense so powerful that I can’t describe. I would die to feel that again. Scoob.
 
Great to hear that 🙂 Yes, Jesus wants to manifest his presence to us in a very loving way.

Most especially in holy mass, when receiving communion (the most magnificent moment of my life, when Jesus, the most holy God unite himself to me, a vile, most miserable sinner, misery and nothingness itself)

But also in eucharistic adoration, when we see Jesus and he sees us. In his constant presence in the tabernacle.

That’s magnificent. The same Jesus who was present in Palestine, curing the sick, performing miracles is now present in the eucharist. And in the adoration and in the tabernacle.

Jesus, how we love you so little, you who have done so much for us.
 
Don’t forget to go to confession weekly before receiving the eucharist. We need to be holy before receiving God most holy in our hearts. Have regular confessors and don’t easily change confessors except there is something seriously wrong with him.

Be careful in choosing confessors, choose ones who are holy and lead a good life. Bad confessor or spiritual directors can lead you astray.

So true! I’m going this Wednesday. Normally I’m petrified of Confession, but I’m really not right now. I think Our Lord really wants me to go, so that’s why I’m not that scared. I keep thinking of how much better I feel afterwards.
 
Yes, you feel so much peace and your burdens are lifted up.

And then, there’s a ticket to heaven 😃

I do apologise for coming across as a “chatterbox”. I was simply seeking an answer, which I did not.
 
Thank you. These are delightful accounts, but contain nothing - weeping statues, Heron of Alexandria, Padre (now Saint) Pio, etc., aside - that could not be (although I hesitate to use the word) faked. Also, they do nothing to address the question of DNA being present in the transubstantiation process. If the Church truely believed in this miracle, surely it would not rely on - in the main - ancient miracles, but be “first in line” to test it under the most rigorous of current scientific methods.
