Actually I like the Conciliar church to have all the novelties like communion in your hands, standing up to receive (the historical posture of one under judgement.“The defendent will rise for the verdict.”). Glass pitchers and goblets from Kmart, no pews, etc.
The Traditional Catholic Church reserves the hands for popcorn and potato chips.
It all helps to show what the Conciliar church is…and what it is… Not.

And your so-called Traditional Church (although it’s heresy to even assume there’s a separate Post Vatican 2 church) can keep its novelties.

Mandatory celibacy for the Latin rite clergy? Novelty. Restricting the laity to the Host alone and not allowing them the chalice? Novelty. The Leonine Prayers? Novelty - based on nothing more substantial than a scary dream Pope Leo had, no less.
