I won’t even bother refuting half verses taken out of contextThey DID preach belief plus nothing for Salvation. Yes, they DID preach “Go forth and sin no more”. but never did they preach that was required for Salvation.
In the Words of Jesus only:
John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 5:24
"I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.
John 6:40
For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day."
John 6:47
I tell you the truth, he who believes has everlasting life.
If the Church teachings are in absolute contradiction to the Words of Jesus here, they MUST be rejected, right?
