You are using the text to estabish the factual correctness of the claims about Jesus.

Yes, what is the fallacy in that? Like saying the weatherman said that it would rain tonight, and then after it rained substantiated that it rained.

Not at all. I’m asking you the question because I want to see how intellectually astute you would be in the presence of God at the final judgment, since you have conceded the possibility that God exists yet you persist in demanding the proof that He has already supplied in his life and works through Jesus Christ.

You have offered no answer when you say “I don’t know.”

Your answer cannot be “I was a victim of invincible ignorance.” You seem to know too much about Christ and his teachings to offer that excuse for thumbing your nose at God.

I don’t judge you, but you have to know by now that if God exists, you will be judged, and you have not ruled out the existence of God.

So what will your defense be when final judgment comes? Will your answer be, “I went to Catholic Answers and they couldn’t satisfy my demand for evidence that You exist”?

To the unbelieving heart it remains ‘but a wafer’, to the believer or them who say ‘Lord I believe, help my unbelief’, it becomes what it is

What would you say if after you died you found out Islam was correct and Allah was angry with you?

I am still unclear how this provides any evidence that God exists.

Actually, that is the answer. If the evidence was there I would believe in God.

I don’t know. It would depend if there was enough evidence to believe in a certain position on God. Or if I had evidence that God wanted me to do specific things.
