Evil Animals?

The thing with snakes and the slit eyes, it’s my understanding that poisonous snakes have slit pupils and non-poisonous snakes have round pupils. That’s one way to tell the difference between the two.

As far as cats go… Cats are NOT evil!!! Your honor I have to object! :tsktsk: Cats are very good at keeping you warm at night and they are great for keeping those pesky mice away. They are also good for a laugh.

Personally, I’d like to ask God what the purpose was for making a mosquito, flea, and tick. Some of the most useless bugs I have ever known, imho. :whacky:

Ticks are evil.They are not like a spider or snake that will bite pretty much in self defense only,ticks want to bite you.They hide and lay in wait to ambush humans and steal our blood.Vile creatures.

I find it interesting that many associate the snake, the cat and the goat with the devil. They, and only they, have a vertical slit for a pupil in the eye. All other animals, as far as I know, have a round pupil.

FYI; The Rocky Mountain Goat, which is actually a species of antelope, has a horizontal rectangular pupil.

I was reading the book of revelation with a friend, and we came across a mention of scorpions and evil animals or something…i’ll go look up the quote now, but are some animals evil? Like i know the snake is usually associated with Satan, so does that make it evil?

Animals are NOT evil.
They may be ungodly, or unGodly.
Only one specie of animal is accepted universally to be Godly, and that is Homo Sapiens.
Another word for ungodliness is beastliness
Some equate Satan with the beast
But that is only saying that Satan is unGodly!

NO!
All animals have a place in the Creation.
All animals have a vital part to play.
The house fly is a vector of disease, BUT if there were no flies, the world would be knee deep in DUNG.
If though there were no spiders, the world would be knee deep in flies.
Very few spiders represent any kind of threat to humans, unless you live in Australia or South America.
