I went to Buffalo’s intelligent design website. It’s full of anti-science propaganda.

I have come to the firm conclusion he does not actually understand what ID, the science, posits.

Obviously.

Observation, question, hypothesis, experiment, data, conclusion, repeat. The scientific method.

What does intelligent design posit? Why is it so hard to find evidence supporting intelligent design?

He can’t apply the scientific method to evolution and ignores the following:

In the book, Benedict reflected on a 1996 comment of his predecessor, John Paul II, who said that Charles Darwin’s theories on evolution were sound, as long as they took into account that creation was the work of God, and that Darwin’s theory of evolution was “more than a hypothesis.”

“The pope (John Paul) had his reasons for saying this,” Benedict said. “But it is also true that the theory of evolution is not a complete, scientifically proven theory.”

Benedict added that the immense time span that evolution covers made it impossible to conduct experiments in a controlled environment to finally verify or disprove the theory.

“We cannot haul 10,000 generations into the laboratory,” he said.

Obviously.

Great. Gravity is a great example of this. I let go of a ball, it drops (observe). I can repeat this over and over. I can make the prediction that it will happen again the same way.

Back to evolution. Show me.

No scientific theory is ever complete because we can never know if there is more to discover. No scientific theory is ever proven precisely because there may be more to discover which causes a change in the theory.

What the Pope says is correct, but it does not mean what you appear to want it to mean. The theory of Gravity is not a complete, scientifically proven theory either. Do you reject the theory of gravity because of that?
“We cannot haul 10,000 generations into the laboratory,” he said.
Why do you persist in making the Pope look bad by continually repeating this false statement? The LTEE is over 50,000 generations and still running.

Actually evolution has been observed in bactria and archaea across thousands of generations.

The Pope said “God is not a magician” also. Or is Pope Francis too leftist for you?

See the Lederberg Experiment (1952) and the Luria-Delbrück (1943) experiment. Both have been repeated over and over and meet their respective predictions.

Were you not aware of those two experiments? Did your ID sources not mention them? How unsurprising.

Now please tell us about an equivalent biological ID experiment which we can repeat this over and over. And we can make the prediction that it will happen again the same way.
