It (science) has to be for truth. Do we agree? Just answer this specific question without obfuscation.
 
You can disbelieve in evolution all you want, but it still happens regardless of what you believe. No one’s forcing you to accept reality.

That’s because intelligent design is unfalsifiable. It’s makes no testable predictions.
 
Science is for reality. It deals with things the way they are, regardless of what anyone thinks.

Have you ever noticed how people who are unsure of the strength of their evidence attempt to bolster that evidence by overusing the adverb “literally”? Search this thread to find the answer.

Go back to your Jesuit training (?) and re-learn the difference between truth and reality.
 
Yes, evolution is falsifiable and makes a ton of testable predictions. Evolution is backed by loads of empirical evidence.
