I do agree with the Pope. God is not a magician.

Intelligent design is error and superstition. Evolution doesn’t claim to be an absolute or an idol. It’s literally just something that happens.

False and false. Drug discovery is trial and error - look it up. There is no way “evolution” does anything for biologists today. Go ahead - find out. Look up CRISPER Cas3.
 
First of all, why does science need to be for something? Why can’t it just be for itself?

Second, CRISPR has nothing to do with evolution.
 
You obviously don’t want to know what the Church actually teaches. ‘I don’t know’ ‘I don’t accept this or that.’ Find out.
 
Biology has nothing to do with evolution. Keep this up and another flag will be coming your way. You are arguing for the sake of arguing. You are now +30 to dodge.
 
The Church teaches that science and religion aren’t in contradiction with each other. It also teaches that God created the universe and everything in it, and that if you deny something that is in the universe, that you are denying the creation of God.

You don’t get to tell God what to think. God isn’t a magician.

It’s okay not to know things. I don’t claim to be God or all knowing.
 
How does biology have nothing to do with evolution? That’s a new one.

I’m arguing in favor of actually using one’s brain. There’s nothing wrong with being smart. There’s nothing wrong with science. There’s nothing wrong with accepting reality.

  1. Cosmologists are still working on what the Big Bang was. Possibly the collapse of a very small (quantum sized) part of an 11-dimensional multiverse to form the 4-dimensional STEM universe we live in. Alternatively it might have been the collision of two branes. Cosmology gets very strange and very mathematical. How good is your tensor algebra?

Right. They have and still do. They are definitely not ID friendly. So there exists no ID conspiracy going on there, we agree.

However, they are grappling on how to understand the new findings of science and still exclude intelligent design. They went to tea. 😀

Further along, they explicitly gave the marching orders that God had to be excluded. What they will do now is spend a whole bunch of time and money trying to prove natural selection is a naturally occurring design agent. Stay tuned and watch the next round of papers. You will see I am right. If this effort fails what then?

Ok, it seemed that you did, based on a comment you had about Darwin’s chart from ape to man, my mistake.

I’m not a mathematician, but I’d appreciate more info. Our Sages actually spoke of the Big Bang centuries ago, in detail.

The word “mercurial” comes to mind. Do you not disbelieve what you profess to be or is it vice versa?

The 2 main points of the article seem to be that 1) labeling people who disbelieve any of the claims of evolution as fundamentalists is erroneous, and 2) evolution is not a monolithic body of knowledge to which one must pledge allegiance to all or none but evolution is many disconnected claims to which some may agree and others may disagree.
 
Why do you keep promoting intelligent design even though you know it’s wrong?

Evolution doesn’t say anything about God though.
 
How is evolution not truth?

The beauty of science is that it’s true whether you believe it or not.
