Is this revenge for Bin Laden? Is it enough to wake the USA up? I doubt it.

I sympathize with her. I remember the time after 9/11 being a horribly uncomfortable time for a lot of Muslims who had nothing to do with that and had no sympathy whatsoever for it.

Sadly, though, you hear far too few of them speak out when radicalism gets lots of airtime. Or utter denial on the part of others.

From the AP:
Jordan extremist praises Boston bombing

The head of an extremist Jordanian Muslim Salafi group said early Tuesday that he was “happy to see the horror in America” after the explosions in Boston.

“American blood isn’t more precious than Muslim blood,” said Mohammad al-Chalabi, who was convicted in an al-Qaida-linked plot to attack U.S. and other Western diplomatic missions in Jordan in 2003.

“Let the Americans feel the pain we endured by their armies occupying Iraq and Afghanistan and killing our people there,” he said early Tuesday.
I hope somebody tells Mr. al-Chalabi that this kind of rhetoric does not help their cause.
That’s good advice all around.

Boston Police Chief just said again there is no suspect
I heard there are several persons of interest, one a dark-skinned man carrying a black backpack, who tried to enter a restricted area. If such a person were a terrorist intent on doing the most harm, wouldn’t he have entered a more populated area? This sounds to me that it may be a case of domestic terrorism, being on Patriot Day in Boston, as well as Tax Day. But so far we don’t know.

Chris Matthews believes that it might be domestic. According to the Washington Examiner:
MSNBC’s Chris Matthews theorized this evening that the bombing in Boston today might be the result of a Tax Day protest – as it occurred on the deadline date for filing federal income taxes.

“As you point out, and I just forgot, I filed already. It’s filing day for the federal income tax, which does cause some emotions around the country – sometimes in the wrong parts of the brain anyway,” Matthews said during his show.

Matthews was interviewing Democratic Massachusetts Representative William Keating, who also cited tax day or Boston’s Patriots Day as a possible motive for the bombing.

Later in the program, Matthews continued to expand his theory, suggesting that the attacker could be “domestic.”
For what it’s worth, University of Dayton “expert” Mark Ensalaco is also convinced that it is right wing extremism as well:
“My immediate reaction is this is something similar to Oklahoma City and the Olympics in Atlanta,” said Ensalaco, who has studied political violence and terrorism for more than 25 years.

“Because it’s tax day and a holiday in Boston honoring revolutionaries who fought for America freedom, and many people from foreign nations were in attendance, I worry a right-wing extremist used a highly visible event such as the Boston Marathon to make a highly visible statement. It would be tragic if some mad man took a peaceful movement such as the tea party and acted in this way.”
I don’t agree…but, to be fair, I should post multiple theories as they come up.

I haven’t heard any claims of responsibility to this point…although that doesn’t seem to be done as much as it once was.

Unconfirmed reports from The New York Post must always be taken with large grains of salt.
If you read above, it’s been confirmed by both NBC and CBS (though it has continued to be denied by the state police)

No, I hadn’t read or heard that. Thank you for the information. Let’s hope this doesn’t turn into a Richard Jewell-type witch-hunt.
Agreed.

That’s the reason I was trying to post information in near real time (and from multiple points of view)…

What worries me is if any more politicians other than DiFi start theorizing without information:

It is a terrorist incident. … It could be foreign, it could be homegrown

Brilliant analysis like that can be spun by those with agendas.

I’m not jumping to conclusions this time on who did it.

The poor people injured, and the 8 year old who was killed, any of those killed. Very sad, very sad.

Christ Matthews is the same one who said that Obama gave him a tingle up his leg.
