Knew you’d all love it. St. Francis really wrote magnificent prayers. Every one of them is deeply spiritual. This is what faith ought to be.

yes truly “in her remains the whole fullness of grace.” And she is truly the “bride of the Holy Spirit”, as the prayer says.

St Pope John Paul II definitely helped to place where the titles fitted, according to a time-line in Scripture. I remember with St. Louis De Montford’s ‘Tree of Life’ analogy (not sure it is just an analogymetaphor…whatever the term, actually) and accorded it the Church or Family of God. With Our Lady as the perfect realisation of the Tree - the Church. He was a brilliant Saint and Pope. And so it is interesting, how he has placed Our Lady’s Mystical Espousing at the point of the Annunciation.

I will be doing First Friday devotions, First Saturday devotions, going to confession and of course also going to Mass.

Once June 13th comes around I will be observing that as well.

The Psalter of the Blessed Virgin Mary is a masterpiece of 150 songs written to Our Lady by St. Bonaventure, “the prince of mystics”, a doctor of the Church.

I love this, " Let no one be so bold as to speak a syllable which lacks the respect due to her name."
Our simple human hearts can never love Mary to much for all She has done for us. After all, it was God’s will, HE created her to be the MOTHER of HIS Divine SON and OUR Savior. AND She had a Free Will, so it was Her decision to do GOD’S Will. Thank You Blessed Mother, I LOVE You! God Bless, Memaw

Me too, Friday now here,although early. I have organised the Fatima 13th devotions for the Cathedral this year. We have an awesome statue that is from Fatima, with soil. We had pretty dodgy music in May 13th. Real singers are rescuing Our Lady’s celebration this month. I can’t wait to hear them. They are doing a motet or quartet or something. They wanted a running sheet of the day. I said just include prayers for Pope Francis. Our Priests are giving awesome Homilies in Masses on the 13th.

Thank you muchly for the link to St. Bonaventure’s ‘Psalter of the Blessed Virgin’.

Only had to take a peek quickly to see how powerful it is. I wonder if one is to pray all 150 in one day! A good work of love to refer to when redoing one’s Consecration each year, no doubt! Possibly it is that some religious Orders pray these.

I’m glad you are beginning to enjoy it. I just read a little at a time. In True Devotion to Mary, St. Louis says that it is so tender and devout that one cannot read it without having one’s heart melt. Certainly it helps us to draw closer to Jesus through Mary’s Immaculate Heart

Thanks be to God for the Immaculate Heart of Mary, the Mother of our Lord.

I love how St. Bonaventure says in number 10 of his “Psalter”: “I trust in Our Lady, because of the sweetness of the mercy of her name”.

Our Bishop had a special Mass, Rosary and crowing of a Statue of OL of Fatima on May 13th. We had the International Statue of Our Lady of Fatima here in our City at a number of our Churches. I went to several of them. God Bless, Memaw
