I can make many conclusions about many things, if I wanted to be logical

there is nothing wrong with using logic and reason. It stands to reason that if Jesus Christ founded a Church, spent 3 years teaching his apostles, Ascended into heaven, had the Holy Spirit come down on the Apostles. Then why would any true prophet not come from Christ’s church? In fact, if anyone claiming to be a prophet preached anything other than what the church teaches they would by definition be a false prophet. Because the Church contains the fullness of the One True Faith. this is not elitist or being exclusive. All are welcome to know the fulllness of the One True Faith.

Either there is One True Faith or there is no truth at all.

When a prophet comes and says that we are all one human family and it is a blessing of God that two people from differing beliefs marry one another, we should categorically reject Him?

If I read John 8 with Logic and Reason I see many many passages like this -

54 Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:

26 I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.

28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.

29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.

I see the writings of Baha’u’llah confirming who was Christ, I see how all religions are tied together.

Would you say my Logic and Reason are Sound? If you say they are not then it can not be used and it must be wrong?

I would also respond to something Tony said. He says his prophet is one with “Father,” what is this oneness, what does it mean? is it a meaningless statement which conveys a mystery of which no one can understand? Why should we believe such a statement? What does it mean to be one with the father? Can I be one with the father like they were? If not, why not and how not?

We do not fully know what this oneness with the Father means, and we would not try to make doctrinal explanations either.

God and His nature are beyond human comprehension.

To think, as humans, that we can just extrapolate doctrines from a few sentences of Revelation from Jesus or Baha’u’llah is blasphemous and prideful in the face of our Creator.

I will not spend my whole life pondering it either.

Both Messengers of God (Jesus and Baha’u’llah) revealed Truths which have a much more DIRECT applicability to our lives which we should be discussing and exploring together, not what is the exact nature of an Unknown, Omnipotent Being…

There is no empirical evidence that amoxicillin will work for you, unless you participated in study. (And even if you did, the participants are not named so how would you know if it actually worked on you in the study?)

so far as i am aware, that is the only relevant criteria and definition for identifying a false prophet.

so, anyone teaching but not teaching the teachings of the RCC is a false prophet in the most basic and relevant sense.

I would never show so much pride as to assume I KNOW what the relationship between the Father and the Son is. It’s not something that was designed for my finite mind to comprehend so I try to live my life in correct relationship with them. That’s the only but I can control…

What I do know is that there is important context here to consider:

No, you see, there is God, then there is Creation. One is not the same as the other.
The Father is God. Jesus is God. The Father and Jesus) are separate persons, but
they are nevertheless ONE GOD. You can’t bring the Bab in this category because
he is Creation. Creation is not God, God is not Creation.

Let’s talk context again here brother.

1. Jesus was born from a mother, and went through the normal foetal development process in the womb, which is a creative process. The Bab too was born from a mother.
2. Jesus said “Before Abraham was, I am”
   The Bab said “Before I chose the womb of my mother, I discussed with Muhammad the future of Islam”

I believe both Jesus and the Bab here are talking about non-created pre-existent natures, don’t you?

holes in his hands and feet and even side, that is how he was taken, that’s how he is
coming back. We will still be able to identify him and besides, Jesus is coming back
at the end of the world, not in the late 1800s.

So when Jesus returns, you will ask to look at His hands before you acknowledge His identity?
What does He look like otherwise?

so you think God is feeding mankind bits and pieces, widely scattered around the world points of view because we are too ignorant to know the fullness of the Truth?

I say no loving God would do something that evil. It causes nothing but chaos and confusion. No, I say God sent his only begotten son to give us the tools we need to repair our relationship with God the Father, to learn to live and love eachother, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Jesus did this when he taught his apostles and they intern carried on by forming the One Holy Apostolic Church.
