Oh, but it is easy to find EDL supports Israel and have waved Israeli flags at their demonstrations. Imagine that. But they are suppose to be popular at SF? Imagine that?:confused: And this above is easily confirmed by searching the net.

lets look at the story from the beginning of the EDL.you will find out it started from the dead soldiers comming home,what happened to the friends and family…

i do not like the EDL way of doing things,ive been on some demos with them and its not for me…but you would be surprised on how many out of the thousands who are good people.with concerns…

You are absolutely correct, CNN broadbrushed them but as to their being right wing, the only thing we know for certain is that they are against Islamic Extremism. Hard to see areas like Sunderland with its socialist background producing “far right marchers”.
 
But such sentiments would not be found in any official statements of the organization. I think EDL has their Jewish and Polish divisions, GLBT too. The Poles are Catholics generally.

When it comes down to it, since it’s a UK issue, that’s the important thing, isn’t it?

The internet is a wonderful thing - an hour or so on an American-based message board can make even a middle aged Tory like myself feel sympathy for Neo-Marxist revolutionaries (wherever they may be).

Where do they find the time? 😉
 
Don’t get me wrong. I have no sympathy with the backward Islamic members that drag the Muslim community into disrepute.

We have seen some terrible oppression within and without the Muslim community. However, we have a dark history of religious and ethnic persecution.

I am an English teacher that could never teach in certain countries because I need the Bible and the rosary to guide me.

However! These same people have oppressed Catholics. They are not the answer. Not all, but most are very very dangerous.

If I may, I will post you what I know about them.

The extreme left in America and in UK can stoop to about any trick. Unless something is really proven so, I’m not buying it. Little of what you have asserted has been shown to be solidly backed up. And criminal records and other is really nothing but a wild goose chase, people have a right to their opinion and to state it no matter what.

This group protests against Sharia Law, Islamicization of the UK, these things are not wrong to do. Any violent protest is wrong but people also have a right to free speech.

I don’t know anything about british politics. however having seen the tea party in the United states pictured in the mainstream media in the same terms that are used to describe the EDL I tend to take much of what i read about them with a huge grain of salt. Besides there is a basic flaw on this story and that is the description of them as being far right-if they are neo-nazis or fascist that would make them far left.

but what i did find out was that it was not the organisation that was against Catholics,it was certain members of influence that had it.that is one of the many reasons why i did not belong there.

i suppose in the labour party or the conservatives,liberals… you have people who have different ideas about different things… but they are still one party.until they have had enough and walk…

i do not mind one bit about the colour of people at all,faiths or creeds… but what i do mind is an ideology that wants me to submit my faith or die,pay jizya or live at the level of a slave…

im in total belief in my faith,i live and learn,daily.i make mistakes and as St Patrick always used to say to people im a sinner.but i do know right from wrong.morally…

thanks for this information sharing on here Jharek… so people as well as yourself can see that its not only the British Monarchs,UAF,UVF and the likes are anti Catholic,also some of Europe is…very interesting to say the least…i wonder how many countries world wide hold this view?would they all be far right aswell? funny how they are all in politics and never get called out for this thought/action of theirs…

Im sorry if muslims want to go around cutting the heads off british soldiers in there own country then they have to expect a backlash, Ive lived in the UK, all my family are Welsh, and I was furious with this, they crossed the line here, Its easy to sit in America and judge the EDL, I know their not angels themselves but the US dont have the problem with muslim enclavs like in Britain or Europe, ever heard of muslim patrols? I live in Sydney now and the same problem is happening here, ive had a knife to my throat, bashed and was nearly killed, also been spat on by these people, they go around in packs looking for white anglo-christians to bash up, they are violent! These muslims need to respect the countries laws or move to Saudi Arabia and preach there islam over there, they move to western countries then they have the nerve to hate everyone apart of it that isnt muslim?? I dont get that at all, could you imagine if christians went to islamic countries and carried on like this? we would be gutted and strung up for public viewing! This is a problem that is only going to get worse im afraid…
